Evelyn Sharma, who has worked in a number of films, but is best known for her role of 'Lara' in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is going through one of the most important phases of her life as she is about to welcome her first child. A few months back, the actress was already on cloud nine after walking down the aisle with her then-fiance, Tushaan Bhindi. After meeting him on a blind date in 2018, she had been friends with him for a year.
In 2019, Tushaan had popped the million-dollar question to Evelyn Sharma but the COVID-19 pandemic had delayed their plan to get hitched. However, in 2021, the duo tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony. On July 11, 2021, Evelyn had announced the news of her pregnancy on her IG handle. She had shared a picture of herself lying down on a sunbed and had worn a yellow and white-hued monokini, flaunting her cute baby bump. Alongside it, the mommy-to-be had written, "Can’t wait to hold you in my arms."

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Evelyn Sharma, who is currently in Australia with her husband, Tushaan Bhindi, shared how it feels to welcome a child amidst the pandemic and how excited she is to welcome her first child. She said, ''All is going well and we can’t wait to hold our little one in our arms very soon. We can’t wait to introduce the little one to our family and friends around the world. And you can imagine how much I miss my beautiful India.''
Going further in the interview, Evelyn Sharma revealed about enjoying her pregnancy journey in Australia and added, ''It’s been a fantastic place to stay during the pandemic. And, of course, to safely start our little family. It would have been wonderful to have close family and friends nearby during pregnancy, but we are blessed with a very community here, too.''

On July 27, 2021, the soon-to-be-mommy, Evelyn had taken to her IG handle to share a few adorable candid pictures in which she could be seen caressing her baby bump. Along with the pictures, the actress had revealed how she had started feeling her baby's kicks and had captioned the pictures as "No time for posing! Starting to feel the kicks."
On July 12 2021, Evelyn had shared a picture from her birthday celebrations, flaunting her cute baby bump in a blue-coloured bodycon dress. Taking to her IG handle, she could be seen caressing her bump and had captioned the picture as “First time people are applauding a bigger belly in my photos!” Moreover, her pregnancy glow was unmissable. On July 12, 2021, Evelyn had turned a year older and had shared a series of pictures from the celebrations and had revealed how she had baked her favourite German cake. She had written, “Mommy happy, baby happy… also, I baked this cake for 6 hours lol and we got pretty close to my favourite German cake!"

For the unversed, Evelyn had announced her pregnancy a month after her wedding with Tushaan Bhindi.
