Dimpy Ganguly and Rohit Roy’s love story makes us believe that sometimes it takes a little extra time to start a perfect fairy tale. Dimpy had given love a second chance when she had found her soulmate in her childhood crush, Rohit Roy. Dimpy and Rohit had known each other for years and had tied the knot on November 27, 2015. The couple had embraced parenthood on June 20, 2016, with the arrival of a princess, whom they have named Reanna Roy. And on Easter Eve i.e., April 11, 2020, Dimpy and Rohit had completed their family with the arrival of their prince, whom they have named Aryaan Roy.

Dimpy and her family of four enjoy and celebrate every occasion of life. In fact, we have seen them turn an ordinary day into a festival. And when it is someone’s birthday, it sure calls for a big celebration. Dimpy Ganguly’s husband, Rohit Roy turned a year older on March 19, 2021, and the family made sure to make his day special.
Taking to her IG stories, Dimpy shared a series of pictures and videos depicting how the family celebrated her husband, Rohit Roy’s birthday. From spending the day at the beach to swimming with the dolphins, Dimpy shared glimpses of it all. However, it was the ‘Birthday boy’s birthday dinner’ that caught our attention as she recorded and shared her husband’s cake cutting ceremony, where we went aww looking at their son, Aryaan clapping with happiness for his daddy and their daughter, Reanna dancing and jumping with happiness. On March 19, 2020, Dimpy Ganguly’s hubby, Rohit Roy had turned a year older and she had posted a twinning picture with him to mark his birthday. To wish Rohit on his birthday, Dimpy had captioned her twinning in black picture with him as “Dear husband, on your birthday I wanted to wish you the very best, but you already have me. No need. Happy Birthday handsome.”

On October 21, 2020, Dimpy had taken to her IG handle and had shared an adorable kissing picture with Rohit from their Maldives vacation. The duo had looked lovely amidst the scenic beauty, holding their little munchkins, Reanna and Aryaan. Along with the picture, Dimpy had shared her experience of a family-moon and had written, “@acidxxx and me have travelled to a lot of places together, some have been absolutely spontaneous, overnight decisions, some extremely meticulously planned and carefully curated. However the one thing that we always wished we planned better was a honeymoon. At the time we didn't think much of it but with passing years we missed that one. So two babies, 5 years and a pandemic later one spontaneous afternoon we decided to go to that one place that's on everyone's honeymoon destinations list - but with our munchkins. So this was our family-moon.”
In an interview with The Times of India, Dimpy Ganguly had revealed how destiny had played the role of a Cupid in her love story with Rohit Roy. She had remarked, “We were from different schools and would meet only during fests, but we could never talk about our feelings for each other. And then, I moved on. Strangely, I bumped into him in Dubai in 2013, almost a decade later, and that's when we confessed our feelings to each other. I couldn't believe that the guy who I crushed on, liked me too. The innocent school charm brought us closer, apart from the fact that we belonged to Kolkata. After I moved out of the city, my parents bought a new house which turned out to be just a few kilometres away from Rohit's house. It was as if destiny was trying to bring us together.”
