Gone are the days when brides wore ensembles weighing tons of kilos along with age-old traditional jewellery. Nowadays, brides opt for lightweight ensembles, donning which they can be comfortable with throughout the rituals. Moreover, they can also come down from the mandap and do some thumkas along with the other attendees of the party. Undoubtedly, this comfy-cum-stunning bridal couture also sets trends and grabs all the eyeballs at them.
Thus, one name that immediately pops up in our head whenever we think of designer ensembles with a touch of tradition and trendiness is none other than the renowned designer, Manish Malhotra. He knows how to play with different shades of colours and give the brides an array of options to choose from. The bride of the week opted for one such stunning lehenga and looked breathtaking.
The bride, Srishti Bansal dazzled in a dusty pink lehenga from the shelves of ace designer, Manish Malhotra. The beautiful lehenga featured unique stone-studded embroidery along with pretty designs in various cute little shapes. She paired it with a matching heavily embellished choli and a jaal dupatta. The dupatta featured a broad border along with some golden thread works at the hemline.
Srishti's choice of jewellery was also something which most brides of recent times would also prefer. She opted for sleek diamond jewellery, including a neckpiece, a floral nath, matching earrings, a maang teeka, a single-tiered matha patti and a matching set of diamond and pink bangles. Altogether, she looked simply breathtaking.
Srishti's makeup artist, Bianca Louzado gave her illuminating makeup, including a dewy foundation base, blushed and highlighted cheeks, glittery pink eyeshadow, bold eyes with winged eyeliner, glossy pink lipstick and a stone bindi. Along with it, she opted for a middle-parted neat bun hairdo and looked drool-worthy on her D-day.
Shrishti's then-groom, Shagun Agarwal opted for a contrasting cream-hued bandhgala suit. He paired it with a matching striped turban, a doshala adorned with a rani-pink border and cream-coloured jootis. Altogether, the couple looked simply blissful on their wedding day.
Well, we are already mesmerised by the bride's unique choice of the stone-studded lehenga for her D-day, along with her sleek diamond jewellery. What about you? Let us know!
