There are weddings and then there are dhoom-dhaam weddings of India, which are famous across the world for their rich traditions, music and mouth-watering food. An Indian wedding is incomplete without inviting the whole family. While the COVID-19 outbreak has forced us to opt for intimate weddings, we miss the big fat Indian weddings. But thanks to God, the bride and groom's fashion game is still on point.
In fact, we have witnessed the soon-to-be-married couple laughing their hearts out during all the wedding festivities and opting for the latest ensembles that often set a huge trend in the wedding world. We have often seen brides recreating their favourite celebrities' wedding day look and it instantly becomes viral on social media. However, our bride of the week recreated Bollywood actress, Kangana Ranaut's character, Manikarnika's look for her wedding day. Check out to know more!
Meet our bride of the week, Priyanka Pandule, who had gotten married to her dream man in a proper filmy style. For her wedding day, the bride had donned a traditional paithani saree in a deep-red colour with a golden border. Her look was inspired by Kangana Ranaut's style, which she had flaunted in her movie, Manikarnika.
The bride's look was accentuated with a choker neckpiece, a satlada haar, a maang teeka, a Maharashtrian style nath with traditional earrings and green-coloured bangles. Dark smokey eyes with a deep-red lipstick and curly half-tied hair completed her wedding look.
The groom had also set a huge trend by dressing up as Ranveer Singh's character, 'Bajirao' from the movie, Bajirao Mastani. He had donned an ivory manarkali (a term used for anarkali for men), which he had teamed with a matching red doshala. His look was complemented with a matching ivory turban and a neckpiece.
Well, we love the bride and groom's royal look! What about you?
