Amitabh Bachchan had broken many hearts when he had tied the knot with his ladylove, Jaya Bhaduri, in 1973. Well, Amitabh and Jaya are now living a happy life with their daughter and son, Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Abhishek Bachchan, son-in-law and daughter-in-law, Nikhil Nanda and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and grandchildren, Navya Naveli Nanda, Agastya Nanda and Aaradhya Bachchan. However, did you know that it was a chat mangni, pat vyaah for Amitabh and Jaya because of his father, late Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s strict orders? Well, Amitabh was surely an obedient son!
Amitabh Bachchan often recalls his father, and in February 2021, we had seen a glimpse of it. Amitabh was shooting for his film, Mayday, and he had posted a suave picture of himself on his social media handle. Donned in a classy jet-black pantsuit, Big B had penned a few lines from his late father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s notable book, Madhushala. He had written in Hindi:
"Madiralay jaane ko ghar se chalta hai peene wala; kis path se jau, asamanjas me hai wo bhola bhala; alag alag path batlaate sab' par mai ye batlaata hu, raah pakad tu ek chala chal paa jayega madhushala."

As it is late Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s 114th birth anniversary, Amitabh Bachchan shared a picture with his late father, which was taken from his and Jaya Bachchan's wedding. In the unseen picture, Amitabh wss seen wearing a sehra. Sharing the picture, Big B wrote in his blog:
"My Father, my all.. November 27th his birth in the year 1907.. Which makes it his 114th Anniversary.. He is in the heavens, with my Mother and they celebrate.. as do we, in thought word and deed.."
Talking about the picture and how his late father had a sense of fulfilment at his wedding, Amitabh added:
"But first. Those rare moments when one would find himself rushing against the winds to prevent the distance between us and to close it down as soon as it can be. The day of my wedding and his expression of fulfilment to not just be in congratulation but instead to be in the face of a belief, a chime, an ultimate season of love and great passion, of the quarries of the fears and conditionings of these deprived gym routines kart .."
Penning a message and the lessons he got from his late father, Big B concluded:
"This could have been unknown for long facilitating years, to give not expected versions and lastly large scale informations of the insides ; but as time passed by, as does now, they explained purposely, the values of education and similarity.. Be in peace and love.."
It was on June 3, 2019, when Amitabh Bachchan, to mark his 46th wedding anniversary with Jaya Bachchan, had revealed an interesting story of the unusual circumstances and their chat mangni pat vyaah in his blog post. Amitabh and Jaya had wanted to go on a trip to London to celebrate the success of their film, Zanjeer along with their other friends. But Big B’s father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan had told him that he could go only with Jaya after the two get married. Amitabh and Jaya were dating at that time.

Recalling the incident, Amitabh Bachchan had written on his blog:
“I lived on the 7th Road of this society.. on a rented house.. marriage had been decided among us.. nothing to be exaggerated or celebrated with any aplomb.. just the two families and.. done.. off to London, my first trip ever and hers too.. Zanjeer a success and a promise that if it did well we would all - a gang of our friends - would go on a holiday to London! Seeking or rather informing parents that we were a group of friends going to England .. who all are going came the query from Babuji .. names disclosed .. Jaya is also going with you.. you both are alone.. yes.. if you have to go marry and go.. ok.. pandit and family informed.. next day all set.. flight at night.. marriage to finish before the flight.”
Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s writings are indeed filled with lessons for life!
