Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bhaduri's love story and bonding, even after so many years of marriage, has already set new parameters of trust, understanding and love. For the unversed, they first met in 1970 at the Pune Film Institute. However, nothing substantial occurred between them at that time. Afterwards, they started working together in one-after-the-other films and gradually developed feelings for one another. Finally, on June 3, 1973, the duo got hitched to each other. However, even to this date, the duo never misses a chance to recall their old days, and open up about the same.
Amitabh Bachchan is currently hosting the popular reality show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 15. During his stint on the show, he keeps interacting with the participants and deliver many anecdotes from his life, which are simply adorable. In the latest episode of the show, when Jagriti Sharma from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, took the hot seat, Big B started praising her face and long hair. He was heard saying, “You have very long hair.” To this, Jagriti further mentioned that her hair was even more longer, with a knee-length height. But when she recently attended a friend’s wedding, she went for a slight trimming. However, her friend stepped in and chopped her hair to that length. She also shared how her father was unaware of the matter till that point, and now, he would know this.

Listening to Jagriti's narration, Amitabh remembered his old days with his beloved, Jaya Bhaduri. For the unversed, apart from her acting sense, Jaya was also loved for her startling beauty and long hair. She was indeed a powerhouse of beauty. Thus, talking about the same, Big B mentioned how his wife also had long hair once and said, "I am sharing this personal info. Jaya ji ke baal bhi bahut lambe the. But you have very good hair.” Afterwards, they continued the game and post using three lifelines, Jagriti won Rs 3,20,000 in total.
In one of the earlier episodes of Kaun Banega Crorepati 15, Amitabh was heard talking about his and Jaya's huge height difference. For the unversed, while the actor is 6'1, the actress-turned-politician's height is 5'2. Thus, despite their cutesy bonding, Jaya and Amitabh's height difference often grabs the eyeballs. During 'The Juniors Special' week in KBC 15, a 12-year-old kid, Mayank told Big B that he doesn't like his short height and added how his classmates make fun of him for the same. To this, Amitabh said that the same thing often happens to him as well. But the intelligent kid asked how it was possible as the actor was already tall. To this, Big B gave a cutesy reply by saying that his wife, Jaya, whose height is similar to Mayank's, and the actor has to look down to talk to her. In Amitabh's words:
"Mere saath ulta hota hai. Patni ji hamari jo hai, woh aapke height ki hai. Aur unko bhi aise dekhna padta hai."

In another episode of KBC 15, when a Bengali contestant, Alolika played the game to a certain point and then withdrew, Amitabh couldn't stop asking the reason behind the same. To this, Alolika said that every contestant who used to grace the show is already a crorepati as they sit in front of one of a crore. Thus, Amitabh was stunned by Alolika's answer and said that through his life experiences, he has already learned that one should never fight with a Bengali. Taking a dig at Jaya Bachchan's argument skills, Big B mentioned his wife knows how to give prompt answers in every possible way. Thus, Amitabh mentioned that he never argues with his wife, Jaya.
