Kashmira Irani is known for her stint in the popular television series, Amber Dhara, Dharmakshetra, Dosti... Yaariyan... Manmarziyan, Zangoora and many others. She has also been a part of many films like Rangoon, Tiger Zinda Hai and Bharat. Now, she is on cloud nine as she got married to her longtime boyfriend, Akshat Saxena in a traditional ceremony in Ranthambore, Rajasthan. Glimpses from the same are going viral on social media.
Recently, Kashmira Irani and her pilot-boyfriend, Akshat Saxena got hitched to each other in a fairytale wedding in one of the palaces in Ranthambore, Rajasthan. Their wedding was an intimate affair, in the presence of close friends and family. For the wedding, the actress looked mesmerising in a red-hued lehenga choli that featured golden embroidered panels all over it and broad embellished borders. She styled it with a matching-hued tulle dupatta and kundan jewellery. In addition, subtle makeup finished off Kashmira's look. On the other hand, Akshat looked handsome in a white-hued bandhgala suit paired with matching pants, a doshala and a turban.

Kashmira's close friend-cum-TV actor, Nakuul Mehta was also present at her wedding with Akshat. Taking to his IG handle, Nakuul shared sneak peeks from the wedding festivities in Ranthambore. In one of the photos, Nakuul and his wife, Jankee Mehta were seen posing for the lens with the then-just married couple and looked the happiest. Sharing the photos, Nakuul penned a heartfelt note for his close friend that can be read as:
“The weekend was spent celebrating the union of two of the most joyous, drunk in love and the warmest people we may know off. There are great days, there are beautiful ones and then there are days which promise to stay with you for a very long time. Watching the both of celebrate each other and revel in the company of your closest will remain one of the happiest memories.”
Nakuul also dropped many other candid clicks from Kashmira's wedding festivities, which were simply unmissable. In one of the pictures, Nakuul and Jankee were seen posing with the then-bride-to-be, Kashmira at her mehendi ceremony. For the function, Kashmira donned a blue-hued skirt-top paired with junk jewellery.

Following this, we got another glimpse of Kashmira and Akshat's haldi ceremony while they were seen enjoying their best with their close ones. For the haldi ceremony, Kashmira opted for a yellow-hued saree paired with shell jewellery with two broad gold necklaces and a crescent moon-shaped bindi. Moreover, in another picture, we can spot Nakuul and others all decked up in black ensembles for Kashmira and Akshat's cocktail night.
For the unversed, Kashmira and Akshat were in a long-term relationship. However, while the actress has to stay in Mumbai for her work, Akshat resides in Delhi. Thus, once talking about their love story and the dynamics of their relationship in an interview with the Times of India ahead of her wedding, Kashmira revealed many unknown deets about the same. In her words:
“My work will keep me stationed in Mumbai, so we are still figuring things out. My sister played cupid, Akshat is a friend, one of my sister’s friend. He has introduced me to a lot of adventurous sports. I am in love with his integrity and never-give-up attitude. I am glad we are imbibing each other’s interests and hobbies.”
