Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are enjoying every moment of their lives with their one-year-old daughter, Raha Kapoor. The doting parents have been highly protective of their daughter and have requested the paps to keep their daughter out of the public eye. Alia and Ranbir opted for a 'no picture policy' for their kid until the right time. However, time and again, some pictures have surfaced on social media, making the actors anxious. Now, as Alia appeared on the fourth episode of Koffee With Karan season 8, she opened up about many such things related to her daughter, Raha.
During her appearance on Koffee With Karan season 8, Alia Bhatt was asked how she felt when people mentioned that she embraced parenthood at the peak of her career. To this, she quickly quipped, "See, the balancing career irritates the life out of me." Then, Alia revealed that it was a tough time when she started shooting for the first time after giving birth to her daughter, Raha. However, she was then supported by her darling husband, Ranbir Kapoor. Elaborating more on it, Alia shared:
“It takes really long for your body to bounce back. I was not sleeping at night, I was feeding, and rushing in between shoots. So, I remember calling Ranbir and saying ‘Listen, I’m finding it very difficult’. So, he pushed his work and said, ‘Do not worry. I’m going to come pick her up. I’m going to take her. I’ve pushed my work. She’ll be with me’.

Despite Ranbir's support, Alia was going through guilt. And her guilt was maximised when she returned home and found out that one side of her daughter's face was leaked on social media. Thus, she broke down. Admitting that she is a protective parent, Alia also accepted that she was exhausted and overwhelmed at that time. Alia explained:
“So, that guilt carried on and one and a half days later when I traveled back, I saw a photo where the side of her face was visible and I just broke down. Honestly, we’re proud of our baby. But it’s just like there were too many emotions put together and I’m so protective of my loved ones that I felt like, ‘Oh God! I don’t want that conversation'. But I realized that I was just exhausted and overwhelmed at that time.”
During the conversation, Alia also spoke about how her husband, Ranbir is ‘beautifully obsessed’ with their little munchkin, Raha. The doting mommy, Alia mentioned that Raha's father is madly in love with their daughter and wants to be involved in every single activity the little one performs. Afterwards, calling Ranbir a 'burp specialist', Alia added:
“Sometimes he’s just staring at her, troubling her, playing games with her. In the beginning, he was a burp specialist. The only thing he is not doing is feeding her. He wants to be involved in every single thing and sometimes too much. At home, we’re fighting to hold her.”

Further, Alia also revealed her favourite thing to do with her daughter, Raha. The actress revealed that when there’s nobody around, she sits with her baby girl on her lap and talks to her about how she feels, and what she wishes for Raha. In addition, the doting mommy mentioned that whenever she asks her baby girl where she is, the little one cutely points at herself. Not only that, Raha is also able to point to her mommy and daddy, and her doting parents keep making their daughter do so repeatedly. In Alia's words:
“Where’s Raha and she points to her, where’s mummy then she points at me, where’s papa then she points at papa. We are constantly making her do it. I feel so bad.”
