Abhishek Malik is one of the famous actors in the television industry. The actor became a household name with his performance in the much-loved series, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. Apart from that he was also seen in serials like Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi, Bhagyalaxmi, and Kumkum Bhagya. Talking about his personal life, Abhishek has been going through a tough time as he recently parted ways with his wife, Suhani Chaudhary. For those who don't know, Suhani and Abhishek tied the knot back in 2021. After two years of their marital bliss, the duo parted ways owing to compatibility issues. Recently, Suhani opened up about her side of the story.
In a recent interview with Times Now, Suhani Chaudhary talked about what went wrong in her and Abhishek Malik's marital life. The professional stylist added that she and Abhishek are two different people, which was the main reason for their clash. Suhani added that it doesn't mean that she and Abhishek had a lot of fights, but it's just that they couldn't understand each other, making it hard for them to continue their marriage any longer.

Going further in the interview, Suhani Chaudhary added that she and Abhishek Malik got married too early, even before knowing each other. She added that they both should have taken time to understand each other's lifestyles, families, and the other things that bind a marriage. Suhani said:
"Hamne shaadi jaldi mein kar li. We didn't know each other too much before the roka happened. Maybe we could have taken a little more time to understand each other and our families, our lifestyles, etc. It was an amalgamation of all things. We should have given each other time."
For those who don't know, in an earlier interview, Abhishek Malik took the blame on himself for parting ways with Suhani and added that he couldn't give her time. When Suhani was asked about the same, in the same interview with Times Now, she mentioned it was one of the reasons why they decided to part ways. Suhani said that she used to feel alone as Abhishek didn't give her enough time. The stylist added that Abhishek was a workaholic, and she respected his work, but she also needed some of his time as a wife. Suhani added:
"He is a workaholic which is a good thing but sometimes I used to feel that neither of us got the time to bond with each other. Jab nayi nayi shaadi hoti hai toh you want to bond with the person, spend time with them. You want to connect and grow together. That was missing. He blames himself for the divorce and maybe he feels that way but yes it was true. We never got the time together to explore the world. I respected his work but I wanted him to give me time as well. As a wife, I wanted my husband to spend time with me. Every girl wants that love and time."
In the same interview, Suhani Chaudhary was asked about her family's reaction to her divorce from Abhishek Malik. To this, she said that all of her family members were sad, and initially, they didn't want this to happen. Suhani remarked how she and Abhishek made them understand. When asked about alimony, Suhani stated that it was their mutual decision to part ways with one another, and she didn't want anything from him. She added that she doesn't want to hurt Abhishek, and she is not going to ask for alimony. Sharing more about the same, Suhani added:
"No, it is a very mutual settlement we have done. I honestly don't want anything for him. I don't want to hurt him I don't want his money. My family is also not like this. We don't want to hurt each other in this process because we believe it is neither of our fault. Sometimes things happen. Maybe God wanted this. I don't think I should ask for money. We wanted this to go peacefully. I am not greedy."

It was on October 19, 2021, when Abhishek Malik and Suhani Chaudhary tied the knot. Taking to his IG handle, Abhishek announced the news with some adorable photos featuring them as bride and groom. In the photos, Suhani looked adorable in an ivory-coloured lehenga, while Abhishek looked dapper in a matching sherwani.
