The Euphoria actress took the spotlight at the 2026 Emmy Awards on September 14, 2026, when she stepped out at Los Angeles' Peacock Theater in a show-stopping custom sheer Prada gown covered in crystals and diamonds that added up to more than 10 carats.
The 30-year-old actress, who earned her sixth Emmy nomination for playing 'Rue Bennett' in Euphoria, brought serious sparkle to the red carpet. Styled by her longtime collaborator Law Roach, Zendaya's silver Dior gown featured a plunging V-neckline, a fitted silhouette, and a short train, with thousands of dangling crystals giving the look plenty of movement. But the jewelry took the glamour to another level.
Zendaya accessorized the custom Prada creation with exquisite pieces from Mikimoto's iconic Les Pétales collection. The luxury jeweler, globally renowned for their cultured pearls, incorporates exceptionally high-quality diamonds in its pieces. Zendaya's jewelry likewise featured classic pearls with an impressive amount of diamonds.
Zendaya's earrings featured 12mm White South Sea cultured pearls surrounded by 4.40 carats of diamonds. She added a statement ring featuring a 13mm pearl framed by 3.42 carats of diamonds, along with another ring featuring a 12mm pearl surrounded by 1.84 carats of diamonds. She also wore a pearl and diamond floral motif bracelet reportedly valued at USD 33,000.
Altogether, the Mikimoto pieces featured more than 10 carats of diamonds, although the exact total value of Zendaya's entire Emmy look remains undisclosed. The custom Prada gown, with accessories like a Rolex watch and other styling details, made it impossible to put an official price tag on the complete ensemble. Paired with Zendaya's 5-carat cushion-cut diamond engagement ring, it added another USD 120,000 or USD 280,000 to her look, as per jewelry experts.
Stylist Law Roach explained the thinking behind the jewelry. He said he wanted to take something as timeless as Mikimoto pearls and make them feel "fresh, modern and young." He continued, "There's an elegance to pearls that will always be classic," adding that the way Zendaya wore them felt "completely of the moment."
Zendaya's footwear was equally carefully coordinated and brought the look together. She wore pale blush-pink satin pointed-toe pumps, which were a subtle match for the similarly colored trim around the neckline and sleeves of her gown. The actress also showed off her newly debuted pixie haircut, pairing the dramatic hairstyle with glowing skin, rosy makeup, berry-toned blush, and glossy lips.
And while the outfit was designed to command attention, it didn't go unnoticed that the Odyssey star arrived without her husband, Tom Holland. But the disappointment didn't last long, as the Spider-Man star soon made his very first Emmy Awards appearance (and their first appearance as husband and wife), seated just behind Zendaya during the ceremony.
Beyond the fashion spectacle, the night was another major moment in Zendaya's already record-breaking Emmy career. Her latest nomination marked her third for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series and sixth Emmy nomination overall. She previously won the category for Euphoria in both 2020 and 2022.
Those victories already made Zendaya the first Black woman to win the lead actress drama Emmy twice and the youngest two-time acting Emmy winner in history. A third victory would have made her the first actress to win the lead actress Emmy for every season of her series. However, she lost the title to Rhea Seehorn, who won the 2026 Emmy Award for Pluribus.
Although Zendaya ultimately didn't add another acting Emmy to her collection this year, she still made a memorable return to the ceremony after last attending in 2022. And as always, her red carpet appearance became an event of its own. With the crystal-covered Prada gown, over 10 carats of Mikimoto diamonds, and that USD 33,000 bracelet, Zendaya didn't just arrive at the Emmys; she made sure the red carpet had plenty to talk about!
