Nikita Rawal is currently dominating the headlines for the viral incident. She was born on July 16, 1990, in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She completed her graduation from Mithibai College. From a very young age, Nikita developed an interest in acting. She made her film debut with the movie, Mr. Hot Mr. Kool.
Later, Nikita has appeared in films, including Black & White, The Hero - Abhimanyu and Amma Ki Boli. She will next be seen in Roti Kapda and Romance, where she will share the screen with Arshad Warsi and Chunky Pandey.
In the now-viral video, Nikita Rawal was seen posing for the cameras when a female fan came to her and requested to have a selfie. Nikita soberly agreed to it. However, things turned awkward when the female fan leaned towards Nikita to kiss her and suddenly grabbed her waist and forcibly kissed her on the lips. The incident left Nikita totally surprised.
Soon after Nikita’s video went viral on social media, netizens began commenting that it was all scripted. A user wrote, "Bad script bad acting.. Agli baar better script leke prior rehearsal ke saath aana. Good luck!" Slamming the fan’s action, a user commented, "That’s not okay and a violation." Another user penned, "Shameful and disgusting. Damn, what we’re seeing in this world there’s just no decency anymore."
Back in mid 2025, rumours of an affair between Nikita and Payal Rohatgi’s husband, Sangram Singh, gained traction. The speculations were further fuelled when Payal, back then, dropped cryptic posts on her Instagram Stories. In September 2025, Sangram broke his silence on the following in an interview. He debunked the rumours and shared that it was all professional. The wrestler shared that he was invited to Nikita's show and had met her 3-4 times. In his words:
"Some time back, I was invited to her show, which had six episodes. I went there only once as a judge. She also made a reel. We have met just 3-4 times along with our teams in connection with her other show. She addresses me as 'Sir,' and I respectfully call her 'Ji.' Beyond that, I don't know her much."
In the same interview, Sangram shared that he speaks to everyone with love and respect. He called the affair rumours with Nikita Rawal 'baseless'. He said, "I always speak to everyone with love and respect. But it is shocking how baseless rumours are published on big media platforms without any verification. At least ask me once if such news is true. Personally, I don't waste time on these things. My focus is on working for society and leaving behind a legacy. At present, I am fully engrossed in preparations for the MMA 2 match scheduled for December 2025."
At the same time, there were rumours that Sangram and Payal were parting ways. Opening up about the divorce buzz, "There were even false reports about my divorce recently, which made me sad. It feels like I am repeatedly made a soft target. I would only request that such news should not be published without my confirmation. Please look at my work. Very soon, I will also be seen in a big film. My only aim is to contribute positively to the country. And I categorically deny any rumours of an affair with any actress."
In a recent podcast, Wedding Maantra Gupshup, Nikita denied her affair rumours with Sangram. She stated that it was purely professional. She explained that back then, as she and Sangram had posted some pictures and Reels from the show, people connected them.
