Reportedly, she completed a three-year theatre program in Sweden and soon moved to the United Kingdom to continue her passion for acting. Over the years, she has worked in The Sandman and Last Train to Christmas.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, around 2020, Michael Sheen and his girlfriend, Michael Sheen worked together on the BBC comedy series, Staged. It is worth mentioning that the series, co-starring David Tennant, was shot remotely. Later, she shared her experience of working late at night as she was mother to two kids. For the unversed, Anna played the role of David’s wife in the comedy series.
While there is no information about Anna and Michael's first meet and how they fell in love, the couple made their first appearance as a couple in May 2019. The duo had attended the New York City screening of the series, Good Omens. The actor had shared a photo on his IG handle, whose caption was, "So, so, so proud of this angelic face", confirming their romance.
According to a report by People Magazine, in 2019, the much-loved couple announced that they were expecting a child. Months later, in September 2019, they welcomed a baby girl, Lyra Sheen. At that time, the actress penned a special note on her Instagram handle for her daughter, which could be read as:
"Last week, on a sunny Monday morning in Wales, I gave birth to our beautiful baby daughter Lyra. It was, without a doubt, the most incredible experience of my life. My heart is full."
Years later, in 2022, Michael and Anna welcomed their second daughter, Mabli Sheen. Anna announced the good news with a note that said, "And just like that ... there was another monkey jumping on the bed." It is worth mentioning that Anna is a stepmother to Lily Sheen, who Michael shares with his ex-girlfriend, Beckinsale.
A few years ago, Anna Ludbery had a conversation with Radio Times, during which she revealed that during the pandemic, she and Michael spent quality time. She also shared that the lockdown was beautiful as the couple enjoyed their time with their daughter, Lyra. She had shared, "The luxury of Michael just being at home has really been amazing and Lyra has certainly loved it."
However, the couple also faced multiple challenges during the lockdown. In 2021, Michael and their daughter, Lyra were diagnosed with COVID-19. At that time, the little angel was only 17-months old. "Yes, we've all been dealing with THE virus the last few weeks. It's been very challenging for all of us but luckily we're all much better now than we were. Thankfully I was lucky to only have relatively mild symptoms, which meant that I could keep focusing on Lyra and Michael."
Apart from being popular actors, Michael and Anna also support charitable causes. Reportedly, the couple took part in Channel 4 show Gogglebox. Reportedly, they raised money for the charity, Cancer Research U.K. and the Stand Up to Cancer campaign. It is also worth mentioning that over the years, Anna had often appreciated her boyfriend, Michael for being an amazing father. On Father's Day, she took to her IG handle to share:
"Happy Father's Day to the most incredible father this little ladybug could have asked for. We love you so very much."
