The Talladega NASCAR Cup Series race on April 26, 2026, turned chaotic after one of the season's biggest wrecks occurred during Lap 116. Nearly 26 cars piled up, better known as "The Big One" in NASCAR. It left several top drivers out of the race and caused the event to temporarily shut down under a red flag.

Later, it was found that Bubba Wallace lost control while leading the pack after his car was pushed from behind. While he took responsibility for the incident and called it "unfortunate',” several internet users have turned their attention to his wife, Amanda, who has stood by him throughout his racing journey.

Amanda Carter, now known as Amanda Wallace, has been a constant source of support in Bubba Wallace's life,, even before he became famous in NASCAR. She is a graduate in finance and banking from Appalachian State University. Amanda graduated in 2016 and began working as a financial analyst at Bank of America. However, her career took a turn in 2022 when she decided to leave the corporate world to become a full-time artist. Since then, Amanda has often shared her artwork on her social media accounts.

Apart from her professional life, Amanda is also a mother. She has two little children with Bubba. They have a son, Becks Hayden, who was born in September 2024, and a daughter, Cameron Jade, born in March 2026. Along with her work and motherhood, Amanda also supports Bubba in his races from the stands, and they often share family moments after his victories.

Bubba Wallace and Amanda Wallace's love story began in high school. They both studied at Northwest Cabarrus High School in North Carolina. The NASCAR driver was a sophomore while Amanda was a freshman. Despite their different subjects, they first connected in Spanish class. Amanda once joked that Bubba used to try copying her answers because she was the "smarter" one. On the other hand, Bubba admitted he had a crush on her during high school. But despite their strong connection, they did not date in high school.

Instead, they remained friends for several years before reconnecting in 2015 at a college football game. The reunion changed things, and later Bubba invited Amanda on a Las Vegas trip during her senior-year spring break. Although she initially turned down the offer, she later agreed. Eventually, the trip marked the beginning of their romantic bond, which grew alongside Bubbba's racing career. He finally proposed to Amanda in Oregon in 2021, in front of a waterfall, and they tied the knot on New Year's Day in North Carolina

The Talladega crash has become one of the biggest NASCAR incidents in 2026. According to social media videos of the incident, Bubba was pushed from behind before his car slammed into an exterior wall. Since the cars behind him were travelling at a high-speed of around 200 mph, it caused a chain reaction. In turn, nearly 26 cars with top drivers crashed behind him. Some of them included Kyle Larson, Joey Logano, William Byron, Ryan Blaney, and others. Sharing his opinion on the incident, Bubba told Fox News:

"Uhh, damn. Right? I hate it for our team. Don't want any DNFs. We have two now. It's a bummer. We gotta figure out how to be pushed better. I take responsibility for that."
