Bollywood and its bitter-sweet affairs are a thing on their own and make people talk about it for generations! For instance, we, the people belonging to Gen-Y, have an account of most of the Tinseltown affairs that brewed between stars, even in the 70s! And speaking of past affairs reminds us of the infamous 90s-early 2000s, affair-cum-banter between Aishwarya Rai, Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi. Rumours had it that Aishwarya had left Salman for Vivek and later on, went on to breakup with him too. With everyone having the right to choose the best from what life offers, Aishwarya Rai, apart from her films, had also hogged the limelight due to her linkup rumours and of course, the enmity that started between Salman and Vivek, which apparently, still continues. In the latest series of events, Vivek Oberoi’s Twitter activities have taken a centre-stage from the past couple of days. While the only one that you can think of was a demeaning meme, this one’s about his once ex’s, ex-beau, Salman Khan.

Soon after the Lok Sabha elections, Vivek Oberoi’s much-awaited film on Prime Minister, Narendra Modi had released. And it was only yesterday when Shri Narendra Modi swore in for the second time as the Prime Minister. Congratulating him, Vivek Oberoi tweeted a picture of himself with him. And along with it, wrote a heartfelt note for him. While the note was endearing, what people noticed was the #Bharat that he used in the note, which also happens to be the name of Salman’s soon-to-release movie.

Upon realising his mistake that he had emphasised the word ‘Bharat’, Vivek Oberoi immediately took to Twitter and editing the post by removing the hashtag! This is what his tweet for PM Modi read, “Honoured to be invited again to the swearing-in ceremony. I’m watching @narendramodi bhai taking his oath for the 3rd time on his journey from CM Gujarat to PM of Bharat once again! Feeling like a small part of an incredible history #ModiSarkar2 #NamoAgain #ModiSwearingIn.” Meanwhile, also take a look at the screenshots:

A few days back, Vivek Oberoi had taken to Twitter and connected the dots of Aishwarya Rai’s love life through a tweet and terming it with political jargons. In the tweet that could be read as, “Haha! creative! No politics here....just life”, the first picture had Aishwarya and Salman which was termed as “Opinion poll”, the second picture in the collage had an image of himself and Aishwarya, which was denoted as “Exit Poll” and the third picture in the collage which read “Result” had a picture of Aishwarya, Abhishek and Aaradhya, which made many industry people and influencers shame Vivek. Here are all the screenshots of the same:

Remember that incident when Vivek Oberoi had called for a press conference in 2003 and had claimed Salman Khan of calling him 41 times and accusing him of having physical relationships with many leading ladies’ of the Tinseltown. Vivek had also shared that Salman had even threatened to kill him. After the press conference, no one from the industry came to his support and even Abhishek Bachchan stated, “In the film industry, there is a code of honour whereby all problems are sorted out internally.” (Also Read: Benafsha Soonawalla-Priyank Sharma's Romantic Lunch Date Amidst Major Fight Rumours, Pics Inside)

Kareena Kapoor had shared her views on this and had stated, “If Vivek had a problem with Salman, why could he not solve it instead of going to the press?" Suniel Shetty too, had blamed Vivek by saying, “I don't know what's happening with Vivek and how he looks at life. Being an actor and a co-artiste, he should not have taken the matter to the press. If he felt Salman had behaved badly, he [Oberoi] should have confronted him [Khan] physically instead of talking about it on television. I thought it was in very bad taste. Everyone believes Vivek has done it for publicity.”

Suneil Shetty had further added, “I know Salman. He is a fantastic human being. He [Khan] says he made a call or two. But he says he wasn't abusive. I get irked with some seniors, for example, when they come late on the sets. But I still hero worship them. Where is the question of Salman getting insecure about his career? Filmmakers keep going back to Salman."

Filmmaker, Sanjay Leela Bhansali too, had taken a dig at the whole Vivek Oberoi and Salman Khan controversy and had shared, “Vivek must learn discretion from stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Ajay Devgan. I may shout at him on the sets and he may call a press conference against me. All the heroines should touch his feet for protecting their dignity. If Vivek's dog has dysentery tomorrow, we should be prepared to hear Vivek talk about it on camera for three hours."
