Urmila Matondkar's ex-husband, Mohsin Akhtar, got married in a Nikah ceremony with a Hindu girl. He penned a long note about healing and finding love again.
Urmila Matondkar's ex-husband, Mohsin Akhtar, has started a new journey of his life, two years after the divorce. The Kashmir-based businessman got married to Nidhaa Bhatt in a Nikah ceremony, which looked dreamy, and he also expressed his happiness on the new phase of his life, which starts with a lot of healing and pure intention.
On June 14, 2026, Mohsin took to his Instagram handle and posted a couple of pictures from his dreamy Nikah ceremony. In the first photo, Mohsin was dressed up in an ivory-hued sherwani as he bowed his head and prayed for the new beginning of his life. The next photo featured his beautiful wife, Nidhaa, who looked gorgeous in an ivory-hued gharara with gold embroidery on it. She kept her face covered with a long veil.
The bride's look had a regal touch as she donned a passa, a necklace, and matching earrings. She styled her hair in soft curls. Her look was completed with golden eyes, subtle makeup, and matte lips. Her hands were clad with mehendi, which had a dark hue. A golden ring and bangles.
In one of the photos, Mohsin was sitting on the floor as he made his wife, Nidhaa wear a ring after marriage. In another one, his beautiful bride was seen signing the Nikah papers. In another, the married couple was seen laughing their heart out. Sharing the photos, Mohsin penned a note where he talked about pure intentions, honest love and a heart full of patience. He added that keeping the soul pure, you heal along the way as God writes the best script for you. He wrote:
"Pure intentions, honest love, and a heart full of sabr and shukur. Keep your soul pure, heal along the way, and trust that Allah's script is always better. In His perfect time, my gorgeous wifey nidhab_ ,he rewarded me with your sincerity and blessed me. You brought light in my life. So thank you my love."
Mohsin also thanked his Mouji and expressed gratitude for looking after him from the other side. He shared how it was the blessing and love that led him to find his love. He concluded his post by writing:
"And thank you, Mouji, for looking after me from the other side of the world. I know it’s your blessing and your love for me that came like this. Today I know you will be more at peace.I miss you more than I could ever imagine, and I love you. Keep us in your prayers."
