Ty Okada and Ahna Kreitinger’s love story dates back to 2020 when they were at Montana State University. Both were student athletes, with Ty playing football for the Bobcats and Ahna competing in track. Latest reports have revealed that the duo has been romantically linked for more than three years, and they have not shared any details on when and how they started dating.
While it is believed the relationship began in 2023, Ty and Ahna got engaged two years ago, in 2024. In February 2026, Ahna recalled the time when she met Ty and said:’
“I sat behind him in accounting class and he’d take his sweatshirt off and I could see his back muscles and I’m like, ‘Yes, that’s my guy.’ We joke, ‘If we can make it through accounting, we can make it through anything.’”
Ahna also supported her partner at the 2026 Super Bowl, and she said in the same interview that she was feeling more nervous than Ty. Notably, she adjusted her time between Seattle and Denver due to her work schedule. Ahna had already planned to move permanently to Seattle after getting married to Ty. Addressing the wedding plans, she said that Ty was well aware of the fact that she wanted her friends and family members on the occasion. She further stated:
“He invited all of his Minnesota friends and family, all of my friends and family up to the lake for the July party and did it the day before at just a local park, just the two of us, and then came home to this gigantic party with all of our loved ones.”

The six-day celebration witnessed the presence of all those who are close to the duo. It started with a Bigfork Rodeo, followed by bonfires and more.
A bridal shower was also organised along with a wedding social. The wedding rehearsal was held at Volunteer Park, where Ty popped the question to Ahna. On the day of the wedding, the music of Rascal Flatts’ single, Bless the Broken Road, was played on a violin. The bride appeared in a strapless corset with a long skirt and gloves.
The menu of the reception dinner featured the best items, and the couple served the guests from the kransekake wedding cake. Ty and Ahna even prepared handwritten letters to the guests, expressing gratitude for their presence while they tied the knot. The couple has planned a honeymoon trip to China, South Korea, and Japan. Ahna said in a new interview:
“I’ve always believed the purpose of life is to appreciate it and share it with the people you love - and now, through marriage, I get to soak in every big and little moment with the love of my life. I married the man who makes every experience in my life five times brighter.”
Ty Okada also stated in the same conversation that Ahna is a loving and kind person, adding that she is someone who makes the good times better, and he is grateful to have her as his wife.
