In a press conference, Tunisha Sharma's mother, Vanita Sharma, claimed that Sheezan Khan slapped her daughter on the day of their breakup.
Television actress, Tunisha Sharma’s death on the sets of her show, Ali Baba: Dastaan-e-Kabul is all over the headlines, and with each passing day, there are new turns to the case. It was earlier reported that Tunisha had started wearing a hijab after she began dating Sheezan Khan. Now as per the late actress’ mother, she was being threatened by Sheezan’s family.
Tunisha’s mother, Vanita Sharma and uncle, Pawan Sharma held a press conference on December 30, 2022, and revealed shocking details about her daughter’s death. Her uncle also stated that there was a delay of 15 minutes in calling the ambulance.

Tunisha’s mother called it a conspiracy and revealed she doesn’t know what happened in the span of 15 minutes that her child took the drastic step of suicide. In her words:
“I just want to know what conspired that day, what triggered her to take this decision. We spoke and in half an hour what happened I don’t know. Sheezan brought her down and they didn’t call an ambulance.”
Tunisha broke up with Sheezan after she read his chats with another woman and felt cheated. Talking about their breakup, Tunisha’s mother stated that Sheezan slapped Tunisha the day they broke up. Sharing details about the same, she said:
“Tunisha cannot die by suicide. I just don’t know what happened in the 10-15 mins. God knows what he did with my child since it happened in Sheezan’s makeup room. The day they broke up, Sheezan slapped her and she cried a lot saying he used me. Initially, she had told me that she likes Sheezan.”
As per the latest reports of India Today, Tunisha’s mother, Vanita Sharma revealed that her daughter’s behaviour changed after she started dating her co-actor, Sheezan Khan. Vanita also stated that her daughter started distancing herself from her family. In her words:
“I had only one kid, I have lost her, I won't let this boy get out. He used my daughter over months. I told her to speak and tell us if you are in another relationship. Speak to my daughter but he just told me ‘Sorry Aunty, I can't help you’. He involved Tunisha so much in his life and his family that my daughter had started getting distant from me.

In the same interview, Tunisha’s mother also shared that Sheezan’s family blackmailed Tunisha and also taught her Urdu. Talking about the same, she shared:
“I used to ask her about their relationship but she never spoke much. He shouldn't have cheated her. If he was in another relationship, then he should have informed her. He trapped Tunisha. She was blackmailed by his family... She was taught Urdu, and she had also started speaking Urdu.”
Sheezan Khan is currently in police custody.
