Recently, the official affidavit of Tiger Woods' DUI arrest revealed that the golfer was carrying white pills, which might be the reason behind his 'lethargy'.
Ace golfer, Tiger Woods, who is recognised for his strong and powerful game, has found himself in the middle of a major controversy. For those who do not know, on March 27, 2026, Tiger Woods got involved in a rollover crash, which eventually led to a DUI arrest. Well now, reports are claiming that the golf legend carried white pills in his pockets, which might be the reason behind his lethargy.
A while ago, Page Six shared some recent updates on Tiger Woods’ rollover crash and DUI arrest. The publication claimed that according to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office arrest affidavit, when Tiger Woods was searched, the authorities found "two white pills in the left pocket of his pants". Later, it was revealed that the pills are "hydrocodone." The affidavit also explained that while interacting with the golfer, the officers "observed several signs of impairment" and Tiger was "sweating profusely".
Further, according to a report by Page Six, the affidavit also included details about the rollover crash. Sharing details about his movements, the authorities revealed that Tiger Woods was "lethargic and slow"; however, he was "extremely alert during the investigation". When he was asked to perform a few physical exercises, the officers noticed that he was "limping".
Later, during the horizontal gaze nystagmus test, Tiger Woods continued to move "his head side to side" and he had to be reminded of the instructions again and again. It is also worth mentioning that the golfer was wearing sunglasses and when he was asked to remove it, officers noticed his eyes were "bloodshot and glassy" and his pupils had dilated.
Further, the affidavit also revealed that Tiger Woods opened up about consuming alcohol before driving. The golfing legend accepted that he didn't consume alcohol or any illegal substance on the day of the accident; however, he took "a few" earlier. Tiger Woods also shared details about the rollover crash accident. The officers shared:
"Was looking down at his cellphone and changing the radio station and did not notice the vehicle in front of him had slowed down."
A few days ago, Tiger Woods’ ex-employee came forward and slammed his driving skills amid the DUI arrest. The unidentified employee also opened up about the golfer refusing a urine test and shared, “I know the guy, that’s just not what he does. He has been on tons of pain medication for years.” Slamming the driving skills, the employee was quoted as saying:
"The guy is a terrible driver…he drives like a bat out of hell very often on a road where lawn services are parked with heavy equipment. I’ve been with him in the car going 55 or 60 mph, driving past cops who don’t seem to care."
Coming to his personal life, Tiger Woods is currently dating Vanessa Trump. A few hours before the accident, Vanessa had shared a post with her daughter. After the DUI arrest, Vanessa expressed her disappointment, according to sources. Reportedly, Vanessa is not happy with everything that has been happening and wants Tiger to sort things out. A source claimed that Vanessa wouldn’t stick around with the golfer, if things continue to be like this. Later, a source claimed that Tiger is really embarrassed and very apologetic.
