Since the past few hours, ace golfer, Tiger Woods has been grabbing a lot of attention for all the wrong reasons. For those who do not know, on March 27, 2026, Tiger Woods met with a rollover car accident at Jupiter Island; however, he was later charged with DUI (driving under the influence) and property damage. Amid that, the golfer was seen in his car for the first time after the accident and arrest.
A few hours after Tiger Woods' release from Martin County jail, the golfer was spotted for the first time post his car crash and arrest. According to the photos that are making rounds on social media, Tiger Woods straight went to his SUV and sat in the passenger seat. He looked completely shaken and devastated by the incident. It is worth mentioning that Tiger Woods did not have any interaction with the media after his release. From the now-viral photos, it can also be said there were no major signs of injury.
For those who do not know, it was on March 27, 2026, when Tiger Woods grabbed all the attention, when he reportedly crashed his car. According to authorities, Tiger Woods was driving a Land Rover and he soon reached a pressure-cleaning truck. However, when he tried to overtake it, his car clipped to the truck, leading to a rollover accident.
Reportedly, the golfer was alone in the car, and he managed to crawl out of the car. It is worth noting that neither Tiger Woods nor the truck driver was injured. However, moments after the authorities reached the location, they noticed that Tiger Woods appeared to be very 'lethargic', suggesting suspicion of driving under the influence. It is worth noting that Tiger Woods did not consume alcohol. Later, it was explained:
"Mr. Woods did not appear to be injured at all, and the other individual was not injured. He was lethargic on scene because of what he was intoxicated on. He did exhibit signs of impairment. The police were not suspicious of alcohol being involved in this case, and that proved to be true at the jail."
For the unversed, Tiger Woods was reportedly born in 1975, in California. From a young age, he showed interest in the game, golf and he played his first professional tournament in 1992, at the age of 16. At the age of 21, he became the youngest Masters champion. Over the years, Tiger Woods has won multiple achievements. However, throughout his decades long career, Tiger Woods faced multiple hurdles. Over the years, he was often injured and suffered from pain, which forced him to take a break.
In 2021, Tiger Woods faced a major accident. For those unaware, he was injured in a major rollover car crash that happened near Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes. At that time, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department confirmed that Tiger Woods was conscious at the time of the incident. The official statement shared:
"The car traveled several hundred feet from the center divider. He was alive and he was conscious, and that's the extent of that. There was no evidence of impairment."
Coming to his personal life, Tiger Woods is currently in a high-profile relationship with Vanessa Trump. For the unversed, Vanessa was previously married to Donald Trump Jr. After the recent car crash and DUI arrest, the attention has shifted towards Vanessa.
