Six years after Disha’s death, the Bombay High Court has ordered a CBI probe. Now, the CBI has registered an FIR to commence its probe into the 2020 death of Disha Salian.
According to the latest reports, Advocate Nilesh Ojha, who is representing Disha Salian’s father, Satish Salian, in the court case, told ANI that the FIR registered by the CBI in connection with the death of Disha Salian names Shiv Sena-UBT leader Aaditya Thackeray, Rohan Roy, Rhea Chakraborty, Param Bir Singh, Sooraj Pancholi, among others.
The FIR was filed by the CBI after preliminary verification of the complaint of Disha Salian's father, Satish Salian, and the statement recorded by the probe agency. Advocate Nilesh shared that the FIR is for gang rape, murder, and a cover-up of this crime. The FIR also includes the name of doctor Sanjay Yadav and the chemical analyst of the forensic lab who changed the report of gang rape. He said:
"All these people, and there is a long list, so all these people are accused in this... The entire story has been proved false by CCTV. So this entire cover-up means these were all proofs. The court found substance in the prima facie case, hence gave the matter to the CBI."
A few days back, Republic World conducted a sting operation. During the sting operation, the staff member, Roopkumar, who performed Sushant Singh Rajput’s post-mortem, shared some harrowing details about celebrity manager Disha Salian's death. Roopkumar stated that one of his colleagues who performed Disha’s post-mortem informed him that she had many injuries and bite marks. She also had cuts on her lips, ears and chest. According to Roopkumar’s colleague, Disha was gang raped by 5 to 6 men.
A while back, Sooraj Pancholi took to his Instagram handle to share his side of the story. It is worth mentioning that he had been silent for several years about his connection to the death case of Disha Salian. He mentioned that for the last few years, his name has been dragged into the controversy surrounding Disha Salian’s death case. He made it clear that he had not met Disha and has also not met Aditya Thackeray. He wrote:
"I want to say this out loud and very clearly! I have never met Late Disha Salian in my life, directly or indirectly."
Sooraj shared that it was unfair and extremely upsetting to see his name being dragged into something that he has absolutely nothing to do with. He added that the only reason behind staying quiet was that he did not want to keep responding to every report or story written about him. He stated that regarding this matter, the CBI and the police have investigated him and a statement was also recorded by the agencies almost 4-5 years ago.
Disha Salian passed away on June 8, 2020. She was found dead after falling from the 14th floor of a residential building in Mumbai's Malad area. In a recent interview with NDTV, Disha’s father, Satish, shared that there is definitely a link between the death of Sushant and Disha.
According to him, there has been a 100 per cent link between the two cases. He also raised doubts about the CBI's closure report into Sushant Singh Rajput's death that ruled it a suicide.
