It was on November 24, 2017, when Smriti Khanna had gotten married to the love of her life, Gautam Gupta. She had become a trendsetter by ditching the traditional red bridal colour and went for a pink lehenga, minimal makeup and jewellery. Her hubby, Gautam had worn a pale blue sherwani with dhoti pants and a safa. The duo had looked like a match-made-in-heaven.
On Mach 11, 2020, Smriti Khanna took to her Instagram stories and posted a picture of herself flaunting her baby bump. Smriti, who is in her last trimester is counting days and is eagerly waiting for her little one. On March 4, 2020, Smriti had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared pictures from her godh bharai ceremony. The beautiful actress had donned a crimson red suit and her pregnancy glow was clearly visible on her face. In the pictures, we could see her beautifully laughing and enjoying the whole ceremony. A few days before their second wedding anniversary, Smriti Khanna had posted a picture with her husband, Gautam Gupta, wherein the two were seen twinning in different shades of blue, as she gave a small peck on his cheek. While the picture was adorable on every level, it was the cryptic caption that had accompanied the post, made us speculate if a possible pregnancy is on the cards for Smriti. The caption could be read as “Mumma bear loves Papa bear”. She had later confirmed her pregnancy news. She had taken to her Instagram stories and had shared her ‘happiness’ upon feeling the first kick of her baby. Her post had stated, “Happiness is… the first kick of your baby in your belly.” Atop which, she had written, “This feeling!” followed by a heart emoji.
On December 23, 2019, Smriti had taken to her Instagram handle and shared a video of surprise planned by her friends for the soon-to-be mommy and daddy. In the video, the soon-to-be parents could be seen cutting the cake and wearing ‘To Be Super Dad’ and ‘Mom To Be’ sashes. Along with the video, she had written, “Mom-to-be and super dad-to-be fighting for balloons.
