But as per the investigators, it seems like Siya was blackmailed by her alleged lover, Chetan Chaudhary, to push Ketan into the gorge.
As per the investigators probing the matter, Siya Goyal pushed Ketan Agarwal into the gorge, but it was Chetan Chaudhary who blackmailed her. As per the police, Chetan may have used a recording of a phone conversation and private chats to pressure Siya. He allegedly threatened her to expose their nature of relationship to the Agarwal family if she chickened out.
The police officials are also investigating the digital evidence to determine whether Chetan was involved in the conspiracy. He even used her failed murder attempt to blackmail her. They are questioning whether they might have thought of running away, but then turned into a murder plot. Siya's bank details are also being investigated to establish whether there was a role of money as well, and if she transferred funds to Chetan to keep his mouth shut. Police are also tracing cash withdrawals before June 18, 2026, murder to know if any money was used to meet Chetan's immediate expenses.
Hours before killing her fiance, Ketan, Siya met her lover, Chetan, at a cafe to plan the murder, and make it look like an accident. As per reports, Ketan was allegedly pushed into a gorge by Siya on June 18, 2026. The couple got engaged in February and were all set to get married in Jaipur in November 2026. Siya met Chetan at a cafe in Pune, where they identified possible locations on the fort to execute the murder.
The security guard who rushed to Siya Goyal and Ketan Agarwal's rescue revealed the former's first word. For those who don't know, Ketan Agarwal died after he was allegedly pushed by Siya from the Lohagad Fort on June 18, 2026. The guard revealed that he rushed to the spot after hearing screams, and he directly talked to Siya, the suspect in the case.
The security guard, Dheeraj Jadav, in an interaction with NDTV, revealed that he ran after hearing a scream and asked Siya what had happened, and she told him that someone had fallen from the cliff. He immediately contacted the police. He was quoted as saying:
"I came running after hearing screams. I asked Siya Goyal what happened and she said 'yaha se koi gir gaya hai' (someone has fallen off the fort). I immediately informed the police."
The security guard further revealed that Siya was screaming for help. The guard added that the fort is under 24-hour security surveillance and a police station is also nearby, but there are network issues in the area. Recalling the situation, he revealed that he was at his wits' end when he had screamed and run towards it. Upon reaching the spot, he asked the girl what had happened, but she didn't provide any details about it, and then he called the police.
