In an interview with Pinkvilla, the Jabariya Jodi star, Sidharth Malhotra opened up about his linkup rumours with his co-stars, Kiara Advani and Tara Sutaria. Sidharth revealed, “These are just jabariya rumours. That’s the only answer I can give. I’m devoted to my work and every aspect of it. I don’t miss love in my life because I’m totally passionate about and consumed by films. I’m in that phase of my life, where films require most of my energy. Maybe, subconsciously I’ve blocked love. I’m longing for the audience’s love. That’s the only love I want. There’s an audience, which has loved me so far no matter what. Now, I want a larger audience to love me for years to come.”
Sidharth Malhotra was rumoured to be dating M.S. Dhoni star, Kiara Advani. Sidharth and Kiara were spotted on secret dates but they had always denied the speculations of them dating each other. In an interview with the Times Of India, Kiara had opened up about the same and had stated, “They all are "alleged" stories which are reported. Earlier I used to read such stories in the paper and get upset over it but now I laugh about it and it's fun. Over time, I have realised that it is part and parcel of the industry business."
Earlier, during Filmfare awards night, Kiara Advani was asked the same question and rubbishing the rumours, the actress had said, “No, I'm not dating Sidharth Malhotra. I'm very single.” She had further added, “They are rumours only. That's the truth." In a throwback interview, when Sidharth was asked about his growing closeness with Kiara Advani, he had replied, “Nahi yaar. I met her only once at Karan Johar’s party. Sidharth Malhotra is currently rumoured to be dating Student Of The Year 2 star, Tara Sutaria. The two live in the same building and have been spotted together quite a few times. This time it was Tara, who cleared the air about their relationship rumours, she was once quoted as saying, “No, we are not dating each other. He’s my padosi and love thy neighbour for sure I mean why not? But well, we are just great friends."
Sidharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria will be sharing the screen space in an upcoming film, Marjaavaan. Talking about her chemistry with Sidharth, on Karan Johar’s chat show, Koffee With Karan, Tara had said, “We talk often...we talk about our film. I also got my second film with him. Of course, we also talk about other things too. It’s the whole padosi pyaar kind of a lovely chat."
A source close to Sidharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria had revealed about their relationship to Deccan Chronicle and had stated, “But, nothing intense. They are both busy building their careers. She's just starting out and he's looking to catch up with his contemporaries like Varun Dhawan and Vicky Kaushal who have raced far ahead. Distractions are the last thing he needs.”

He was quoted as saying, “We haven't met after it. Our relationship is civil... I don't think it's bitter. It's been a while. I have known her for much longer even before we dated. I gave my first ever shot with her in SOTY so there is so much history. There is a reason why two people decide not to be together. There were lots of ups and downs.
