After his arrest for his alleged involvement in the case of making pornographic content, Raj Kundra's old tweets about 'Porn vs Prostitution' and other offensive things go viral!
Shilpa Shetty Kundra’s husband, Raj Kundra is leading all the headlines as he was arrested by the Mumbai Police because of his alleged involvement in making pornographic movies and publishing them on some app. It looks like the problems are not going to end for him soon as his old tweet on ‘Porn vs Prostitution’ has gone viral.
For the unversed, on the night of July 19, 2021, after interrogation, Raj Kundra was arrested by the Mumbai Police along with 11 other people. He is said to be the key conspirator in the case of creating pornographic content and publishing them through apps in the pretext of offering web series to the models. The police stated that they have enough proof against the 45-year-old businessman.

The problems seem to grow more for Raj Kundra as his old tweet from 2012 goes viral over social media. In the tweet, Raj had posted on March 29, 2012, he had questioned why is it legal to pay someone for sex on camera. In one of his tweets, he had written, “Ok so here go's Porn Vs Prostitution. Why is it legal to pay someone for sex on camera? How is one different to the other??”
In the wake of the matter, Raj’s other offensive tweets also started making it to the headlines and started going viral. In one of his tweets, Raj had written, “India: Actors are playing cricket, Cricketers are playing politics, Politicians are watching porn and Porn stars are becoming actors....!” In another one, he had taken a dig at Newton’s law!
Confirming Raj Kundra's arrest, Mumbai Police Commissioner, Hemant Nagrale’s statement to ANI can be read as “He is being questioned in a case registered in February 2021, which relates to the creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some Apps. We’ve arrested Mr. Raj Kundra in this case on 19/7/21 as he appears to be the key conspirator of this. We have sufficient evidence regarding this. The investigation is in progress please.”

Raj Kundra has been booked under sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intention), 292 and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays). He was taken for medical examination after his arrest. He will be produced before the 37th Esplanade metropolitan magistrate's court on July 20, 2021.
In February 2021, the racket publishing pornographic content with Raj Kundra’s alleged involvement was busted. A woman had approached Mumbai Police with the allegations on Raj Kundra that he is luring men and women on the pretext of giving them work and later, forcing them to act in adult films.
Raj Kundra had filed for an anticipatory bail plea in June 2020 for an obscenity case, which was being investigated by the cyber-crime cell.
