On a Tuesday, November 3, 2026, episode of Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley, the 29-year-old got candid about how she found out she was pregnant. While speaking with her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, on the podcast, Savannah revealed that she and her husband, Jason Galanis, conceived their baby in Palm Beach after a family trip. However, they did not realize she was pregnant until another trip. She admitted, “I didn't think there was a chance in the world that it could happen.”
Savannah learned the exciting news in a rather luxurious location. She said that she and Jason were on the Four Seasons yacht and the staff were handing out Dom Pérignon champagne to the guests before takeoff. When Savannah drank it, she thought that it tasted ‘awful’ and kind of like peanuts. She shared:
“We were on the Four Seasons yacht. And when we get on, they’re giving you Dom champagne before you take off. And they gave it to me. And I was like, ‘This tastes awful. This tastes like peanuts.’”
She claimed that her reaction had left Jason Galanis confused, but they did not think much of it. The couple then went to their room, which was on a higher floor. Savannah started feeling worse after she got there. She said that she was severely seasick and had no idea that she was pregnant the whole time. She said:
“It was awful. Everything was moving. I was so seasick, and so they moved us to a lower floor. Because, come to find out, I really don’t think I was seasick. I was pregnant the whole time and had no idea.”
Savannah revealed that things only continued to get worse for her from that point on. She remembered having really bad cramps but initially thought she was going to start her period. She explained that her period has never been regular, so it would not have been surprising if it had really started back then. She also admitted that she hadn't been counting the days.
On one of the cruise’s stops, Savannah and Jason went to a wine tasting in Turkey. While she walked around the town, Savannah realized that her period was five days late. This prompted her to visit a Turkish pharmacy and pick up a pregnancy test. Savannah shared:
“And then I still didn’t think that I was pregnant; I didn’t even take it that night. I took it the next morning. I just forgot to take it. But then I’m on ChatGPT, just making sure these instructions — we still have the box too where it’s all in Turkish — so making sure the instructions are right.”
When Savannah finally took the pregnancy test, she said that it came back immediately. She said, “And I was like, ‘Oh my god.’”
A day before her revelations on the podcast, Savannah shared on Instagram that she and her husband, Jason Galanis, were expecting a boy. The podcast host and Jason, 56, reportedly secretly got married on July 14, 2026, at Cayman Islands Baptist Church.
