Seems like the universe finally conspired in favour of them and brought them together. No not for a coffee date, but in a movie by filmmaker, Imtiaz Ali. Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan began shooting for the Love Aaj Kal sequel in Delhi sometime back, and the pictures and videos leaked from the sets have made their fans excited. When Kartik and Sara confirmed the Imtiaz Ali film by posting a still on their respective Instagram handles, it broke the internet.
On March 20, 2019, Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan confirmed that they are working on Imtiaz Ali film together. They both shared a sneak peek of their look from the film, wherein Sara can be seen resting her head on Kartik's shoulder. Sara Ali Khan had wrapped up her Delhi schedule for the Imtiaz Ali film and the entire team threw a party for the Simmba star. But it was also a celebratory bash for Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan for winning Zee Cine awards and Filmfare awards, respectively. And it was their thoughtful and doting director, Imtiaz Ali, who had organised the bash for his actors. Sara Ali Khan won the Filmfare award for Best Debut (Female) and thanked the entire team of Kedarnath through her caption as she shared her happiness with all her fans. Sharing a photo of kissing the black lady, Sara wrote, “Thank you Filmfare for giving me this honour- being able to kiss the black lady is truly surreal Team Kedarnath this one is for each and everyone of you. Thank you for making my dream come true Jai Bholenath”.
