A while ago, Samantha Ruth Prabhu took to her Instagram Stories to share a cutesy snap of her baby bump. The actress wore a tight-fit black top paired with black trousers. While it is not confirmed, it appeared to be a fully-grown baby bump. It is worth noting that Samantha did not reveal her face. Along with the cutesy snap, that left his fans excitement, the actress penned a quirky caption, which can be read as:
"My six-pack. I'll see you when I see you."
For those who do not know, Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s snap of her baby bump comes days after she announced her maternity break in an event. Reportedly, during an event of her movie, Maa Itni Bangaaram, Samantha revealed:
"I will have to take a small break after Maa Inti Bangaaram because of my condition. I will come back to do films. I'm taking maternity leave. Then I will come back with another film for my fans."
Prior to this event, a source close to Samantha Ruth Prabhu and her husband, Raj Nidimoru had a conversation with SCREEN and said, "Samantha is in her first trimester, and the couple is very happy about it, especially Samantha, who always wanted to become a mother."
Unlike how celebrities announce their pregnancy, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Raj Nidimoru opted for a different method. The couple first sparked pregnancy buzz a few weeks ago, when the actress was seen cutting a cake with their latest film's team. Since Samantha wore a fitted white T-shirt, her baby bump was clearly visible. Later, she grabbed attention in a yellow-hued saree, when netizens suspected that the pair is expecting their first child. Months before this, Samantha spoke about motherhood and when she was asked if it's too late, she stated:
"I don't think it's too late. I still have dreams of being a mother and, yeah, of course, I would love to be a mother. I have always wanted to be a mother; it's quite a beautiful experience. I am looking forward to it. People often worry about age, but I think there is no time in life when you cannot be a mother."
Before finding solace in each other, Samantha and Raj were in a relationship with Naga Chaitanya and Shhyamali De, respectively. Samantha and Naga tied the knot in 2017 and after a few years, in 2021, they announced separation. On the other hand, Raj parted ways with his ex-wife in 2022. While Shhyamail is currently single, Samantha’s ex, Naga is married to Shobhita Dhulipalla.
Later, Samantha and Raj first met while working on the web series, The Family Man 2. During the shoot, they became friends; however, their bond strengthened while working on Citadel: Honey Bunny. Reportedly, they began dating during the shoot of their projects. But they never confirmed the same. In December 2025, the couple surprised their fans by sharing dreamy photos from their intimate wedding ceremony held at the Linga Bhairavi Temple.
