Recently, TV actress, Rashami Desai revealed her plans of getting married again and embracing motherhood in the year, 2026.
Rashami Desai is one of the most popular actresses of Indian television, who rose to fame with shows like Uttaran, Bigg Boss 13 and more. Over the years, Rashami has often grabbed attention due to her personal life. For the unversed, she was previously married to Nandish Sandhu. Well, recently, the TV actress opened up about her marriage and motherhood plans.
Recently, Rashami Desai sat down for a candid conversation with Mid-Day, during which she opened up about getting married again. Previously, she was married to Taskaree actor, Nandish Sandhu. Talking about her wedding, Rashami Desai shared that marriage is on her mind and is hoping for something good to happen in 2026. She was quoted as saying:
"If I find someone, we will do it. I will definitely share it. This year, as we say, is very auspicious. Being the year of the sun, I think this is a very good year for me. Hoping for the best one."
Rashami Desai further shared her views on relationships. The Bigg Boss 13 fame shared that every couple has their own beliefs. She also stated that some couples like having their own children, while others prefer to adopt. In her words:
"Everybody is very special, and everyone has their own opinion and the way they celebrate their life. Few of them are okay with just a relationship, it’s just a norm. Some accept culture in a certain way, and a few are okay saying we don’t want to have kids, we want to adopt a kid. There are people who say a certain kind of spirituality is part of our family. So when you say a family, things are different. Every couple is unique in their own way."
During the same interview with Mid-Day, TV actress, Rashami Desai opened up on embracing parenthood in the year 2026. She explained that she would love to have a child, but only after marriage. She mentioned that she wants to make sure that the baby has its father. Rashami shared:
"I will first get married. Because I am very sure if I adopt or maybe if I have my own child, I want to have a father of my baby. I do believe in Ardhanareeshwar energy, where there is God, so we have both God and Goddess. You can take any religion Hindu, Muslim, Catholic, Sindhi. There is female energy everywhere. So who are we to change that? I would not want to do it. I am waiting now. Which year and when, we will have to do a blessing. Let’s hope it happens soon."
Rashami Desai is a popular TV actress. She made her TV debut with Raavan. Later, she appeared in shows like Pari Hoon Main, Meet Mila De Rabba and more. However, her breakthrough came with Uttaran. After the much-loved show, Rashami Desai appeared on multiple reality shows like Zara Nachke Dikha 2, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 6, Nach Baliye 7 and Bigg Boss 13.
In her personal life, she was previously married to her Uttaran co-star, Nandish Sandhu. However, the two were officially divorced in 2016. Later, during the show, Bigg Boss 13, Rashami Desai was linked with Arhaan Khan. Over the years, she has often spoken about her relationships and life after her divorce.
