Randeep Hooda and his wife, Lin Laishram, became parents of a baby girl on March 10, 2026. Ever since then, they have been busy with their parental duties. And now, exactly a month after her arrival, the actor shared the first pictures of his daughter and revealed her unique name to his fans.
On March 10, 2026, Randeep Hooda took to his IG handle and posted the first pictures of his and Lin’s daughter. In the pictures, Lin Laishram can be seen holding the little one close, who looked peaceful in her mommy’s arms. Along with the pictures, the actor revealed his daughter’s unique name, Nyomica, which means "divine grace."
Not just this, the post also includes an audio clip marking the pronunciation of the child's name. While revealing his daughter’s name, the Highway actor penned:
“A new center to our world NYOMICA HOODA - Divine Grace, Freedom and limitless like the sky.”
It was on their second wedding anniversary in November 2025, when Randeep and Lin took to their respective Instagram handles to announce the news of their pregnancy. They posted a dreamy picture of themselves sitting by a campfire, enjoying a romantic getaway amid the woods. The sweet caption to their love-filled picture could be read as:
"Two years of love, adventure, and now… a little wild one on the way."
In an interview with ETimes, Lin spoke about suffering a miscarriage in 2025. The couple got married in a traditional Meitei ceremony back in Imphal on November 29, 2023. Speaking about her miscarriage, she revealed that it was a tough phase and said:
"To accept things as they are. After a miscarriage earlier this year, it was a tough space for us both. However, we're just deeply grateful and keeping our fingers crossed—and this is nothing short of a beautiful gift!"
Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram first crossed paths at veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah's theatre group, Motley, where Randeep, 49, was the senior of the 39-year-old Lin and helped her navigate the industry after she returned from New York. Their professional relationship soon turned into a deep friendship in late 2010.
After nine years of togetherness, they started living together during the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, the Highway actor posted a photo with Lin on her birthday, marking her debut on his social media page and sparking dating buzz. After a year of speculation about their relationship, Randeep and Lin went Insta-official in 2022. The couple made their relationship public on Instagram with a joint post for Diwali. On November 29, 2023, they tied the knot in a traditional Meitei wedding ceremony in Imphal, Manipur.
