Raj Kundra Recreates How He Proposed To Shilpa Shetty In His Music Video Starring Anita And Rohit

Let’s admit it, we are all waiting for own version of a fairytale with a sweet, heartwarming and perfect proposal by our dream man. And we all must have dreamt about it over a million of times! Lucky are those who get to live their own magical happy ending...or beginning! And now, 11 years later, her lover-turned-husband, Raj recreated their ‘proposal moment’ in his first directorial venture and Shilpa can’t stop mushing about it! On February 8, 2019, a sweet melody by Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, ‘Teri Yaad’ featuring Rohit Reddy and Anita Hassanandani Reddy and directed by Raj Kundra will be released for the music lovers as Valentine’s gift. Parts of the song are inspired by Raj and Shilpa’s love story.

Sharing a collage with a picture from their real ‘proposal moment’ and its recreation still from the song, Shilpa Shetty Kundra wrote a long message for her ‘cookie’ as she reminisced about their old romantic times. Shilpa captioned the pic as, “Major throwback..this picture from 11 yrs ago when you proposed to me .. still remember you booking out the whole banqueting hall at Le Grand Hotel Paris..telling me it was just early supper at a friends, and you surprised me with a “ring” under the cloche and went on one knee with live musicians playing #ladyinred when I entered, the setting , Paris ..Ufff!! That proposal was straight out of my (every girls) dream.. You continue to manifest all my dreams into reality since then.”

Shilpa further continued, “Seeing you recreate that shot in #Teriyaad (your 1st directorial venture) just made me sooo mushy.. lots of memories.. Recently, for the social media trend #ekladkikodekhatohaisalaga, wherein celebrities were sharing special moments and photos with the special women in their lives, Raj Kundra too, shared his story with the love of his life, Shilpa Shetty Kundra. He wrote, “All I have to say is #ekladkikodekhatohaisalaga that dreams can become reality. I asked her for her heart but she gave me her soul saying souls are eternal. Sometime back, Shilpa shared a gorgeous photo of herself on her official Instagram account and captioned it as, “All set to sparkle and shine in the capital tonight!” To her post, her doting husband, Raj commented, “Mam, you are so hot! I want to take a selfie with you, please”. In reply to this, Shilpa wrote, “Brrrrr @rajkundra9 Sir it’s soooo cold here in Delhi, need you to make me hot”, followed by a hug and a heart emoji.

Sharing that it was love at first sight for him and in all praises for his superwoman, Shilpa, Raj stated in an interview with Filmfare, “It was love at first sight. From the moment I saw her, I knew I’d love her to be my life partner. She’s got an angelic side to her. Her homely side grew on me as I got to know her. She’s a great housewife. She’s a supermom! She’s the wind beneath my wings and I try to be her support system. We are each other’s strengths.”

Shilpa too, reciprocates Raj’s love and was once quoted as saying, “I have found my home in your heart, and love in your soul. I’m the luckiest girl in the world.” She also shared in another interview, “I've always said that the day I decide to tie the knot it is going to be for good. I have often wondered who the right person would be and I've come to realise that for me it is Raj.
