For the unversed, she underwent the surgery on February 25, 2026, and soon she started facing complications, which ultimately resulted in her death. Nearly a month before her tragic death, Rachel Tussey took to her Instagram handle on February 24, 2026, to share a quote. For those who do not know, Rachel often used to share thought-provoking and humorous quotes on her IG feed. Now that the influencer has tragically passed away, her last Instagram post, which is going viral. In the post, the influencer jokingly revealed how she has changed after marriage. The quote can be read as:
"My husband better appreciate the fact that he has the let's talk it out version of me instead of the I'll throw your shit in the yard and set it on fire" version that I used to be. You know, growth."
It is also worth mentioning that apart from the quotes that Rachel used to share, on February 22, 2026, the digital content creator shared a photo of a black bikini. "We are deeply grateful for the love, prayers, and generous support shown to our family during this incredibly difficult time. Last night, my wife Rachel lost her battle while in hospice care. Your donations, messages, and kindness have meant more to us than words can express. They have helped ease burdens and reminded us that we are not alone as we navigate this loss."

The first update she shared with her fans was on February 11, 2026, when she revealed that she is planning to get a mommy makeover. The influencer shared a photo from the clinic and penned a wholesome note. In the same, she revealed that her doctor advised her to buy as many bikinis as she wanted after the surgery.
