During an interview with Sun, Celia joked that her husband, Piers' availability at home at all times has disrupted her schedule. She stated that he used to burn his energy earlier due to his interviews and live TV sessions. But Celia was upset that he had all his energy back. She was quoted as saying:

"Being married to Piers is basically one very long eye roll. But what people don’t realise about Piers is that he’s usually very quiet at home because he’s exhausted himself on whatever interview he’s been doing."

Celia talked about her husband's sudden availability. She asked TV bosses to give him a job. She revealed that during his time on GMB, Morgan would come home exhausted due to the intense debate and didn't bother anyone. After he left his job, he kept staring at her in bed day after day. She said:

"Unfortunately, he’s got all his energy back now. Please, someone, just give him a job! But really, he used to come back and by 9am was absolutely flattened, lying there on the sofa, catatonic, not bothering anyone."

But Piers' constant effort made Celia fall in love, and after dating for years, they got married in June 2010. Celia and Piers welcomed their first child, a daughter, Elise, in 2011. It is worth mentioning that Piers Morgan also has three sons from his previous marriage.
