The description stated that Patricia’s family members have been by her side every day. However, it said that the family was facing additional challenges, including that they slept in their car in Sacramento to ensure that they could be close to Patricia. Furthermore, the family needs help to cover the important necessities, including gas and food.

Notably, the fundraiser aimed to collect USD 3,000, and donations worth USD 4,100 were made to the page. As of this writing, donations have been paused. A few glimpses of Patricia were also added on top of the fundraiser, including some snaps from the hospital bed.
