Paris Jackson Reveals Michael Jackson's Strict Rules For His Kids At Neverland, 'If You're Good..'

Paris Jackson has been making headlines for her recent appearance on the 'Call Her Daddy' podcast. During the interaction, she recalled some strict rules her late dad, Michael Jackson, had for them.

Paris Jackson recently appeared on Alex Cooper's podcast, Call Her Daddy, and talked about a range of topics. The actress opened up about her broken engagement, speaking up at her father Michael Jackson's memorial, among other subjects. However, what really caught everyone's attention was the list of rules the late singer had for his kids while they grew up in Neverland Ranch.

Paris Jackson recalls the strict rules while growing up at Neverland Ranch

Michael Jackson's daughter, Paris Jackson, recently opened up about what it was like to grow up in Neverland Ranch. During the conversation with Alex Cooper, the actress revealed that while the famed estate featured a zoo and amusement park, it wasn't all fun and games for her and her siblings. Paris revealed that MJ had a set of very strict rules when it came to his children. 

For the unversed, Paris Jackson only spent her earliest years at Neverland Ranch. However, she still has memories of her first home. According to the actress, while traditional schooling was not in the cards for them, she still had to attend proper education on a daily basis. She revealed that instead of taking the bus, she would walk down the hall to attend her classes. She was quoted as saying:

"I'd wake up and go to school. I'd wake up, and we'd go to the room that was our classroom and would go to school. The very congruent line throughout my childhood that kind of started there and just continued on wherever we went was if you're good, and you do your chores, and you do your homework, and you do the things that you're supposed to do, then on the weekends you can go see some animals and you can go ride some rides and you can go to the movies."

Michael Jackson had made it very clear that the Neverland Ranch attractions were not for them

In the same conversation, Paris Jackson recalled how they didn't get to run free in Neverland 24/7. She shared that it was made very clear that the attractions were not for them, but for the "underprivileged children and children that were terminally ill that couldn't go to, like, Disneyland." She further added how they would only get to enjoy the rides if they were good and stated:

"And that continued on…because at one point we wouldn't stay in one place for more than a year, and we'd hotel-hopped a lot. And so it was, you know, if we were living in Vegas and it's like, 'Okay, if you're good, you can go to Circus Circus on the weekends,' or like we were in like some random place in Virginia, 'Okay, if you're good, you can go to Chuck E. Cheese this weekend.'"

However, that was not all. Paris Jackson further shared that she and her siblings were not allowed to watch TV either. She recalled how they were only allowed to watch a movie or TV on weekends, and that too only after they were done with their chores for the day. She was quoted as saying:

"So it was always, you know, the same thing with like television; like we weren't allowed to watch television or movies and stuff either unless we were studying it for film with the sound off or, you know, it was on the weekends if we had like done everything we were supposed to."
