The news of singer, Oliver Tree's sudden passing has left the music community and his fans in a state of shock. Many found the news hard to believe, especially since reports claim that Oliver died at the mere age of 32. Now, amid the tragic news, some fans are speculating that Oliver might have faked his own death.
It has been several hours since the news broke that singer, Oliver Tree has passed away. Given the tragic nature of the news, many fans who have been following Oliver's journey for a long time are refusing to believe that the singer is truly dead. Not only that, they are speculating that Oliver Tree could have even faked his own death, and he might actually be alive somewhere. One fan who believes this took to social media to discuss the same and wrote:
“When my wife told me this morning I seriously had to be like ‘I wonder if it's real though' cause Oliver Tree is definitely the type of guy to fake his own death. Just saying.”
Another user, agreeing with the former, replied, “Right. I felt the same way. It seems legit, though unfortunately.” A third user commented, “I'm still in denial." A fan who thought that the news of Oliver's death was not real and some type of joke wrote, “Oh f–k, I thought this was just a joke around post, I was getting ready to make some jokes on them old good looks of his, but - Jesus Christ - not today. However, as many of you might have already realised, these are just speculations made by some fans, and Oliver Tree is indeed dead. Many users have also shared their tributes for the singer. For instance, one wrote, “He seemed like such a fun and silly guy. RIP.” Another wrote, “Genuinely such an unexpected passing, I hope everyone who was dear to him is doing okay, rest in peace Oliver Tree.”
As per reports, Oliver Tree died in a helicopter crash that took place in Brazil. His helicopter had four other people, including a famous YouTuber, Gaspi. In total, the crash claimed the lives of 6 people. Local authorities had revealed that two helicopters crashed in Southwest Rio de Janeiro, in a popular tourist destination called Recreio dos Bandeirantes. The crash occurred on Sunday morning, June 14, 2026.
At present, an investigation is underway to determine the exact cause that led to the crash of the two helicopters. The ANAC (National Civil Aviation Agency) issued a statement regarding the same. It can be read as:
“The National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) reports that it has become aware of the air accident involving two helicopters, today, June 14th, in Rio de Janeiro, and is investigating the situation of the aircraft and pilots involved in the case. The investigations into the causes will be conducted by the Center for Investigation and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents (CENIPA). ANAC regrets the incident, expresses its solidarity with the families and friends of the victims, and reiterates to all passengers on general aviation flights that they should verify the status of companies and aircraft before boarding.”
Later, revealing more details about the incident that claimed Oliver Tree's life, Rio Fire Services Lieutenant Colonel Fabio Contreiras said that the two helicopters crashed on top of an electric vehicle parking lot, causing a massive fire in the area. According to the Lieutenant Colonel, the fire at the scene made it difficult to find out how exactly the accident occurred. However, the helicopter that carried the five victims was already engulfed by the flames. In his words:
“Parts of the aircraft are scattered hundreds of meters away, so the information we have is still very preliminary. We really need to get the recordings and videos to understand exactly what happened.”
