Bollywood actress, Mouni Roy and her husband, Suraj Nambiar are currently going through a tough phase. Hours ago, some eagle-eyed fans noticed that they unfollowed each other on Instagram. Well now, a few reports claim that Dubai businessman, Suraj Nambiar has deleted his Instagram handle. Amid that, a video clip of Mouni and Suraj’s last appearance as a couple has gone viral on social media platforms.
According to a report by Republic World, Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar were last spotted in January 2026, when they attended the intimate wedding of Nupur Sanon and musician, Stebin Ben. For the unversed, the wedding was held in Udaipur and the couple, along with Disha Patani were spotted at the airport.
However, the video clip is grabbing attention because Suraj and Mouni avoided being clicked together. In the clips that are making rounds on social media, Suraj can be seen walking with Disha Patani, while having a conversation. On the other hand, in another video, Mouni can be seen irritated by the paparazzi clicking her. Reportedly, she also directed them to go and click the Baaghi 2 actress.
Despite that, the paparazzi continued to follow Mouni Roy, which clearly irritated her. The Gold actress repeatedly folded her hands and requested privacy. Now that Mouni and Suraj have sparked divorce buzz, fans are questioning their last appearance. Some also feel that they had started facing issues in January 2026 itself. It is worth mentioning that neither Mouni nor Suraj has reacted to the divorce buzz till now.
Ever since reports claimed that Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar have unfollowed each other on Instagram, some users started digging more and realised that even Disha Patani had unfollowed the businessman. This led to a major debate on X (formerly Twitter). Some users claimed that Mouni is heading for a divorce with Suraj, due to Disha Patani. However, it looks like there is nothing true in this.
In the past few hours, multiple reports have been claiming that Mouni Roy has deleted all photos with Suraj Nambiar from her Instagram handle including their wedding photos. However, it is worth mentioning that the claims are not true. If we see Mouni Roy’s IG handle, she still hasn’t deleted photos with her husband. The most recent photo she has with Suraj is from April 2024. Apart from this, Mouni still has her wedding photos on her handle.
For those who do not know, Mouni Roy is a popular actress, who began her career from television and reality shows. Later, she went on to do Bollywood films like Gold, Made In China, Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva and more. On the other hand, Suraj Nambiar is a Dubai-based businessman. Coming to their love story, reportedly, they met through mutual friends and eventually fell in love.
During the COVID-19, their bond grew stronger, as Mouni Roy got the opportunity to spend time with Suraj and his family. In the last four years, both Mouni and Suraj have fondly spoken about each other. Suraj once described his married life as healthy and peaceful. In 2023, during an interview, Suraj once spoke about a long-distance relationship with Mouni and explained that couples who love to travel should have a long-distance relationship, as it is better. Apart from this, Mouni once opened up about her relationship with Suraj and stated:
"Suraj and I have known each other for five years and it was very organic with us. It was a typical boy-meets-girl and we realised that we complement each other in many ways."
