Pregnancy is one of the most beautiful phases in a woman's life, and every married lady looks forward to it. Though pregnancy is a magical feeling, it comes with mood swings, nausea, cramps, and lots of pregnancy cravings. However, the wait of nine months to hold their newborn into their arms for the first time keeps the expecting mothers motivated. Bollywood actress, Alia Bhatt is also experiencing something similar as she is all set to embrace motherhood for the first time.
On June 27, 2022, Alia had announced their pregnancy and had left the entire nation stunned. The actress had shared two pictures on her IG handle and had sent everyone into a meltdown. The first picture was from the hospital, where Alia and Ranbir could be seen adorably looking at a monitor as the actress had got her sonography done. The second one was a picture of a lion and lioness pampering their little cub. Alia had captioned the pictures as:
“Our baby ….. coming soon.”

A few moments back, taking to her IG handle, Alia Bhatt gave her fans a sneak peek into her pampering session. The mommy-to-be dropped a picture on her IG stories, in which she can be see enjoying a delicious Tiramisu dessert. In the aesthetic photo, we can also see a book lying on the table along with the delicacy with which Alia satiated her pregnancy cravings. Sharing the picture, atop it, Alia penned:
"Tiramisu and a book. Such a gram scene."
Alia Bhatt is currently in London, and she is enjoying her pregnancy days to the fullest. On June 1, 2022, Alia had shared the first-ever picture of herself after announcing her pregnancy. In the first picture, the mommy-to-be had radiated her pregnancy glow as she had flashed her brightest smile for the lens. The second picture had shown a beautiful landscape featuring the blue sky, and in the last one, Alia had captured her shadow. Alongside it, the mommy-to-be had written:
"Nothing a walk with yourself can’t fix."

Alia Bhatt's pregnancy news has brought immense happiness to the Bhatt-Kapoor clan. Earlier, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Alia Bhatt's father, Mahesh Bhatt had called her pregnancy an astounding news and had shared that Alia and Ranbir's baby would be a unique kid. The filmmaker had added that the newborn child would have the genetics of two extraordinary parents, Ranbir and Alia, and there would never be a child like his grandson. He had shared:
“There’s another universe which is going to descend in our backyard and in our life. It is quite astounding news. I am happy for Alia and Ranbir, and the entire clan. I am certain that the child which is going to be born will have the genetics of these two extraordinary children -- Ranbir and Alia. The child, who will be born… There has never been a child like the one which is coming soon, and never will there be a child. Every child that is born is unique and unrepeatable. That’s why I say that it’s going to be a universe in itself.”
On the work front, Alia Bhatt will be next seen in the film, Brahmastra.
