Mannara Chopra's sister, Mitali Handa accuses Ankita Lokhande of borrowing the latter's clothes for the media interaction session and then hurling ill about her.
Bigg Boss 17 is undoubtedly the most entertaining reality TV show on the run right now. The show is leaving no stone unturned to entertain its viewers with its daily dose of drama and controversy. With a new day, a new set of drama unfolds, and this time, the press themselves have gone into the house and shaken the housemates. In the media interaction round, the two lead rivals of the season, Ankita Lokhande and Mannara Chopra, spewed a lot against each other. The latter's sister, Mitali Handa, spilled some major tea in the same episode.
Mitali Handa took to her Instagram stories on January 24, 2024, and revealed that she sent the outfit Ankita donned for the media interaction session for Mannara. She added that Mannara, being a kind-hearted girl, let Ankita wear her clothes. But the latter had no gratitude and instead badmouthed Mannara the entire session. Mitali also called Ankita insensitive and poked fun at the actress. In her words:
"When @lokhandeankita wears borrowed clothes which I sent for @memannara and Mannara being a kind-hearted girl gave her so that she looks good for media interaction where all Ankita speaks is against Mannara only. Hats off to Ankita's relations. #insensitive person."

Mitali later deleted the story for reasons best known to her. Ankita's team has not yet responded to the allegation but shared a picture of Ankita from the episode and credited Vastra Malamunde for the outfit. The page shared multiple images of Ankita in the outfit, praised her elegance, and clarified that the outfit was indeed first given to Mitali Handa for Mannara. Still, they are delighted that Ankita wore it. The outfit features a pink-metallic-hued crush-beaded shimmery sleeveless blouse with a saree in the same tone.
In an interview with 'Indian Express Entertainment', Mitali accused Ankita of being very insecure of Mannara. She added that Mannara and Vicky share a brother-and-sister-like relationship, but the way Ankita perceived it was totally wrong and showed her possessive nature. Mitali added:
“There are certain areas of Ankita where one could see she is insecure. Even recently, when Mannara and Vicky were sharing a brother-sister bond, Ankita’s possessive behaviour could be seen. Ankita always keeps highlighting that Mannara is fake, so when there is an action, there is a reaction too. I feel Ankita is very insecure and possessive, she has a problem with Vicky talking to others.”

Ankita Lokhande and Mannara Chopra were never in each other’s good books, but their equation has only changed for the worse from the ‘torture task’. Things escalated to such an extent that Ankita and Mannara even got into a physical brawl. Ankita was trying to talk to Munawar, but Mannara kept coming in between, which agitated Ankita, and she held her arm roughly and pushed her aside.
