Recently, a report by OTTPlay claimed that the film, Mardaani 3, starring Rani Mukerji will stream on Netflix after its theatrical run. It is worth mentioning that the film has not yet been released. The report further claimed that Mardaani 3 will premiere on Netflix after almost eight weeks. According to that, the crime thriller will be released on March 27, 2026. It is worth mentioning that the Netflix deal is a part of Yash Raj Films’ long-term collaboration with the OTT platform.

If reports are to be believed, Mardaani 3 will be the darkest and most brutal chapter in the entire film franchise. The film also introduces antagonist, Mallika Prasad as 'Amma', who leads the brutal network. In the trailer, she is seen challenging 'Shivani', which suggests a fierce face-off between the two. The film is directed by Abhiraj Minawala. For those who do not know, he has been part of films like Sultan and Tiger 3. The film is produced by Rani's husband, Aditya Chopra.
