Around seven years after grabbing attention for her appearance on Dance Moms, Maddie Ziegler created headlines for her romance with Jack Kelly. They began dating in 2017 and even announced the same in an Instagram post, which has been deleted now. The relationship reportedly helped Jack to become an online influencer. However, Jack is not active on social media anymore. The pair recalled in a video shared through Maddie’s YouTube channel in 2017 that they first met at the age of 10.
Notably, Jack and Maddie also appeared together at a party organised in the house of dancer and internet personality, Lilia Buckingham, in 2013. The romance did not last long, leading to their alleged separation in 2018. During an interview with Marie Claire in 2019, Maddie Ziegler said that she will never make any of her relationships public, seemingly addressing her romance with Jack Kelly. Maddie said in the conversation that she learned her lesson, adding that people on Instagram believe that she is dating someone.
Following her split from Jack Kelly, Maddie Ziegler got romantically linked to musician, Eddie Benjamin. Maddie told Harper’s Bazaar in 2021 that she met Eddie on social media. The film is scheduled to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on March 25, 2026. It has already premiered at the SXSW Festival on March 13, 2026. While appearing on the red carpet of the event, Maddie revealed how she managed to play a ballerina in the movie.
Ziegler told PEOPLE that all the actresses in the movie formed a connection with each other immediately when they arrived in Budapest for shooting. Maddie said that all of them were staying in the same hotel and were sent to boot camp for three weeks. Maddie said that she and her co-stars did stunt rehearsals at the boot camp. Ziegler recalled the experience by adding:
“We instantly clicked and we were like, ‘Oh, we’re family.’ It was just really special and cool, and we still keep in touch every day.”
