According to a publication, John Doe is arguing the counterclaims that were made by Lorna Hajdini and believes that the countersuit should be tossed out of the court. Lorna also reportedly addressed the backlash that came along with it, adding in the alleged document that her life has turned upside down. After filing the lawsuit, the file had been abruptly withdrawn for 'corrections', and now, John Doe's legal team, which allegedly consists of five lawyers, claimed that the claims that Lorna Hajdini made as counterpoints are only protected speech and cannot be used as the basis of a defamation case. According to one of Doe's new attorneys, the defamation lawsuit by Lorna was simply an 'act of retaliation' and a desperate attempt to punish him for voicing against federal violations, including race discrimination, retaliation and interference with family and medical leave.
