Popular television actress, Krishna Mukherjee recently posted a note on her Instagram to share her harrowing experiences on the sets of her serial, 'Shubh Shagun'.
Popular television actress, Krishna Mukherjee rose to popularity with her stint in the much-loved daily soap, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. In her career spanning over a decade in the entertainment industry, she has worked in other popular serials such as Naagin 3, Kuch Toh Hai: Naagin Ek Naye Rang Mein, Shubh Shagun and more. Recently, Krishna took to her Instagram account to share a harrowing experience she had to come across on the sets of Shubh Shagun, where she starred opposite Shehzada Dhami.
Krishna took to her Instagram account on April 26, 2024, and in a post, she talked about how she has been suffering for the past year and a half. She revealed that earlier, she did not have the courage to talk about the issue, but now she has decided not to hold it back anymore. Tagging the producer, Kundan Singh, on her post, the actress added that she was repeatedly harassed by the production house and the producer himself. Revealing that she never wanted to work in the show, Krishna said:
"I never had the courage to speak my heart out but today I decided not to hold it back anymore. I am going through tough times and last one and a half year was not at all easy for me. I am depressed, anxious and cried my heart out when I was alone. It all started when I started doing my last show" Shubh Shagun" for Dangal TV. That was the worst decision of my life. I never wanted to do it but I listened to others and signed the contract. The production house and the producer @kundan.singh.official has harassed me so many times."

In the same post, Krishna mentioned that she was locked inside her makeup room because she was unwell and decided not to shoot as they were not even paying her. The actress also added that they were banging on her door as they would break it while she was changing clothes. Moreover, they also have not cleared her dues for five months to date. In her words:
"They even once Locked me in my makeup room bcz I was unwell and I decided not to shoot bcz they were not paying me for my work plus I was unwell, they were banging my makeup room's door as if they will break it, when I was changing my clothes. They never cleared my payments till date for 5 months. And it's a really big amount. I have been to the production house and dangal office but they never entertained me."

Krishna also shared that she was threatened many times, which left her scared and broken. She said that she had asked for help from many people, but nobody could help her. Moreover, the actress also added that this is exactly why she has not been working on any shows at present as she is afraid that the same can happen again. She also asked for justice in her post.
Along with the post that featured the details of her harrowing experience, she also penned another note in the captions, where she said that her hands were still shivering while writing about this, but she had to. Krishna shared that she has been suffering from anxiety and depression because of this and while people hide emotions and show the brighter side of their lives on social media, she wanted to reveal her reality. In her words:
"My hands are still shivering while writing this but I had to. I am suffering from Anxiety and Depression bcz of this. We hide our emotions and show the brighter side on social media. But this is the Reality. My family was asking me not to post bcz they are still scared what if these people harm you? But why should I be scared? This is my right, and I need justice. @kundan.singh.official"
As soon as she posted this on her Instagram, scores of people started showing support for her. Actress Shireen Mirza said, "I have seen u being patient and quiet, but not anymore, baby. I’m glad u spoke about it coz we need justice. Time to get some serious action!!! Stay strong." Aditi Bhatia wrote, "Justice needs to be served. Makes me sick knowing what you’ve been through." Shraddha Arya penned, "hat’s Terrible, let’s all get together and serve them right!!!! You’re not alone @krishna_mukherjee786 !!!"
