Kim was getting backlash during the time Mary Jo 'MJ' Shannon's death news surfaced on social media.
It so happened that Kim Kardashian posted a few of her vacation photos on social media, and it was just after that when Kris Jenner took to her social media handle and announced the devastating news of her mom's passing. No sooner did the announcement surface on social media than people started questioning Kim's choice of posting fun moments during this heartbreaking situation. One user questioned her choice, while some other users defended her, stating that it could be a scheduled post.
Amid this backlash, Kim had to come forward and react to the buzz. She mentioned that the post, which featured her fun moments and was posted just before the news about her grandmother's death surfaced, was a scheduled post. Kim further revealed that she was with her mom and her grandmom in the tough time, and her heart is entirely with her family. Kim, reacting to the backlash during this tough time, said:
"This post was scheduled a few days ago before we lost MJ, so its timing came right alongside her passing. I’ve been by my mom and grandma’s side this past week, and my heart is completely with my family right now. We love and miss her so deeply, and in the days ahead, we’ll be focusing on celebrating her beautiful life."
