Joni Lamb's daughter, Rachel Lamb Brown shared a few details about her mom's secret health battle as she dropped an adorable post on Mother's Day!
Daystar president, Joni Lamb passed away at the age of 65. Joni Lamb reportedly was suffering from a health battle, and she chose to keep things private. Reportedly, her health deteriorated due to her back pain.
With her passing, her followers remained utterly heartbroken. Joni Lamb's family released a statement, and Daystar also confirmed the passing of the longtime president. With the grieving news making headlines, her family dispute with her son, Jonathan and daughter-in-law, Suzy, was also making headlines. Amid this, Joni's daughter, Rachel, dropped an emotional post on Mother's Day as she missed her mom.
Taking to her IG handle, Rachel posted a video, which featured her with her mom, Joni Lamb. In the long note, Rachel bared her heart out. She also shared a few details about her mom's secret health battle. In the post, Rachel revealed that her mom's body became weak. Rachel also added that her mom fought extremely hard and that she had been strong as well.
Rachel also mentioned that in her journey of being sick, her mom, Joni, never lost sight of the mission that God called her to. Rachel went on to reveal how strong her mom was, even when she was suffering, and how she kept doing television and reaching out to people. Rachel said that her mom kept eternity in her heart till her last breath, and that's how she touched so many lives. An excerpt from her note could be read as:
"You fought so hard. You were so strong. Even when your body was weak, your spirit never was. Through your journey of being sick, you never lost sight of the mission God had called you to. You kept showing up. You kept doing television. You kept reaching for people. Even in the middle of your own suffering, your life continued pointing people toward Jesus."
Joni Lamb had been married to Marcus Lamb, with whom she had three children, Rachel, Jonathan and Rebecca. Rachel is said to be Joni and Marcus' elder daughter. Rachel Lamb Brown is associated with her family business and is a host and marketer of Daystar. Speaking of her personal life, she is married to Joshua Brown, and has two kids, Judha and Noah, with her husband.
In her note, Rachel revealed that recently her kid came and just hugged her, which made her miss her mom even a bit extra, as she knows that she would never be able to tell her mom that she was missing her. She further added that she's trying to process right now, while adding that, in the days to come, she would come forward and talk more about her mom. Rachel further said that while her mom's passing is a heartbreak to her, it's not the end of her mom's story.
For the unversed, Rachel Brown's husband, Joshua Brown, came into the limelight when Jonathan Lamb and Suzy Lamb accused someone from the family of having sexually assaulted their then-5-year-old baby girl. The family member's name was being used as 'Pete', and it's not confirmed who he actually was. However, Rachel's husband remained in the conversation, and he denied all such claims. Joni was accused of covering up the sexual assault case, which she denied. Joni's relationship with her son, Jonathan and daughter-in-law, Suzy, eventually got strained. Jonathan was fired from the company, and as she passed away, Suzy and her husband shared emotional posts; however, the latter shared that they weren't even informed.
