Jennifer Lawrence appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast on October 28, 2026. During a conversation with host Alex Cooper, the actress revealed that she had an awkward interaction with her Silver Linings Playbook co-star Bradley Cooper.
The interaction in question happened when they were filming what Jennifer described as a “big makeout session” at the end of the movie. At the time, Jennifer could not stop herself from making a cringey comment. She recalled:
“I said, ‘Aren't you so sick of kissing?’ And he didn't like that. But I think he laughed.”
According to the Hunger Games actress, the exchange “was one of those moments where you're like, ‘Right?’ And the other person’s like, ‘Oh.’” But regardless of their awkward interaction, Jennifer claims that it is still one of her favorite memories from making the 2012 Oscar-winning film. In Silver Linings Playbook, Jennifer played the role of a young widow who fell for a man (Bradley) who was a recent divorcee with bipolar disorder.
On the podcast, Jennifer Lawrence admitted that she was “definitely nervous” when she met Bradley for the first time. She added:
“He was in ‘The Hangover.’ He was the biggest celebrity I think I ever met at that time. And I was like, ‘Watch this. Hold my beer.'”
For the movie, Jennifer revealed that she pretended to be “confident” in her dance skills, but in reality she soon realized that her moves were “so bad.” She joked that even if anyone put a gun to her head while shooting, she would've been like, “I'm really good. I'm an amazing dancer.”
Jennifer told Alex Cooper that back then she genuinely did not think that the film would be so successful. For those wondering, Silver Linings Playbook grossed over USD 236 million worldwide and earned eight Oscar nominations. Jennifer said, “You never really do – unless you're making The Hunger Games or whatever. But no.” She added that the whole time they were filming, she didn't get what the movie was about.
A few days before her appearance on Call Her Daddy, Jennifer Lawrence sat down for an interview with The Cut where she got candid about her plastic surgery procedures. She revealed that she got a breast augmentation and is planning to get a facelift someday. She also revealed the reason she went under the knife and said that it was because of her desire to be a “sexy mom.”
Jennifer admitted that she wants to look like a woman who is gorgeous even when she has just woken up. The actress had previously expressed her wish to get a breast augmentation in October 2025 after she welcomed her second child with her husband, Cooke Maroney. As for other beauty treatments, Jennifer revealed that she often gets baby Botox and if she could, she would get buccal fat removal, but its possibility seems unlikely to her.
