Add BollywoodShaadis on GoogleFriends fame Jennifer Aniston’s personal life has always been a topic of conversation among her die-hard fans. For those unaware, she is currently in a relationship with hypnotherapist and wellness author Jim Curtis. The couple is hogging the spotlight after Jim opened up about how he and the actress navigate disagreements in their relationship.
Jim Curtis recently appeared on The Jamie Kern Lima Show on August 31, 2026, and opened up about his relationship with Jennifer Aniston. He revealed that just like other couples, they too have disagreements and arguments. When host Jamie Kern Lima directly asked the hypnotherapist whether he and the Friends star used the prayer, “I'm sorry. I'm listening. Thank you. I love you,” at home, Jim said that they don't. Revealing what they actually do, he said:
“We do a lot of meditation; we do a lot of talk. We don't use this particular prayer. We have. But it's very easy.”
When Jamie said that she and her husband often use the prayer in their personal lives, Jim quipped in by explaining how “different tools” are beneficial for couples at different stages of their relationship. In his words:
“After 24 years, you’re like, I know you and I’m ready for you. When you use this, it lowers defenses. Like, ‘Oh, I no longer have to be armored up for you because we’re on the same team and I love you,’ right?”
Giving the example of his own relationship with Jennifer, with whom he has been together since 2025, Jim added that this is no longer the first tool that they use. Instead, they prefer meditation, acceptance, and understanding. He said:
“Jen and I have been together a year and a half, so this tool isn’t the first tool that we go to. We go to meditation, acceptance, understanding. Those kinds of things. In the honeymoon phase, your tools don’t have to be like big sledgehammers.”
During that same interview, Jim Curtis gushed about how Jennifer's friend group is like a “group of best friends that are like family.” He admitted that he felt blessed to be a part of them and that they welcomed him into that family. For those unaware, Jim and the Friends star were first photographed together during a yacht trip in Mallorca in 2025 alongside Jennifer’s friends, Courteney Cox, Jason Bateman and his wife, Amanda Anka.
Just days before Jim’s interview, the couple was also spotted out on a dinner date in Los Angeles with Courteney, Jason, Anka, and Lisa Kudrow. He stated that it really spoke to Jennifer and the group about how everybody is so grounded and so kind. According to him, this is one of the reasons why “that whole group and community is so beloved.”
Jennifer Aniston and Jim Curtis reportedly met each other through mutual friends. It was not love at first sight for them, as Jim had previously admitted that they took a long time to connect with each other. The couple went Instagram official in November 2025, when the actress posted a loved-up photo showing her wrapping her arms around her boyfriend.
For those unaware, Jennifer posted the picture on the occasion of Jim's birthday with the caption, “Happy birthday my love cherished,” followed by a red heart emoji. Later, in January 2026, a source close to the couple said that Jennifer had a great end to 2025 and “feels really good about where things are with Jim.”
