Jaya Bachchan Gossiping With Shweta Bachchan Nanda At MxS Launch Is Every Mother-Daughter Duo Ever

You know each other so well that you don’t even need words to express yourself. Any guesses as to who we are talking about? Yes, the relationship between a mother and her daughter! From cooking your favourite meals and gossiping with you, to those never-ending fights and she being your only trustworthy ‘person’, the unbreakable bond between a mother and her daughter is hard to put into words. The Bachchan and Nanda pariwar are filled with proud emotions as Shweta Bachchan Nanda launched her fashion line, MxS World in collaboration with designer Monisha Jaising. Amitabh Bachchan shared through his Twitter how proud he is of his little daughter, Shweta and tweeted, “Yeh garv hai mera, beti betiyaan jab ubhar kar aati hain, apne dum par kuch kar ke humein dikhaati hain, motiyon se piroyi hui yeh mala, aise karna gehna yeh anmol hai, isse surakshit rakhna. (I am proud that my daughters have found success on their own, they are like beads of a necklace; such jewels are precious, keep them safe).”

Since Jaya Bachchan is not on social media we don’t have a post from her, but the happiness glowing on her face at the launch seems to have spoken a thousand words. And amongst so many pictures and videos from the MxS World launch party, what caught our attention is a video of the mother-daughter duo gossiping. Yes, you read that right.

Jaya Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan Nanda were having a secret gossip conversation with each other and were seen sharing a good laugh away from the crowd. Jaya ji telling things to Shweta which can’t wait for them to go home and discuss in indeed cute, and it definitely made us remember our moms too.

Shweta shared an adorable photo of her mother, Jaya Bachchan wearing a ‘Girl Power’ t-shirt. She captioned it, “My mother truly embodies Girl Power. She’s brought me up to be strong, brave, and soft. She holds us all together and drives us to do more be more. Shweta’s brand launch was a star-studded event with Amitabh Bachchan with Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Nikhil Nanda and Navya Naveli Nanda marked their presence to show support for Shweta. Along with the Bachchans, the launch party saw the fashionable best of Gauri Khan with Suhana Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Karan Johar, amongst others who posed for the paparazzi too.

In an interview with IANS, Shweta shared, "We both like a certain image, and when you have that kind of synchrocity, it is half the battle won. I like that Monisha is very easy, her clothes are never trying too hard." She went on to say, "With MxS, both of us sit together to brainstorm and come up with new design ideas. I don't have Monisha's technical expertise, so she brings that in on certain things -- like what a certain cut can or can't be achieved. But otherwise, when you collaborate on a design, it's 50-50.”

Speaking about the support she received from her family, Shweta remarked, "It would be impossible to have done this without each of them; my parents, brother, sister-in-law, Nikhil (husband), Navya (daughter), Agastya (son), my sister-in-law Natasha and my mother-in-law.
