Amid the buzz around him and his alien theory, fans have also become curious about his personal life, including his relationship with Izabel Pakzad, the only woman he once shared he had not cheated on.
James Franco has been sharing several videos on his TikTok account, some of which claim he has footage of an alien on his property. The series of videos began on June 25, 2026, when he said in a video, "They want me to stop. People think I'm acting crazy. Whatever. I'm not acting crazy. I saw something". In multiple posts in which Franco is wearing the same blue T-shirt, the actor promised to show evidence of his claims on July 13, 2026.
On July 13, 2026, James Franco posted a video in which he appeared to show a video on his laptop. In the black-and-white video, a human figure with an alien-like face is seen standing by a tree, opening a door and poking a head into windows. The actor promises more content, as he captions the video, "A lot more footage dropping soon! It gets very crazy!!!" As the video ends, Franco is heard saying:
"I can't keep this quiet. I need to get this out for that very reason that people are trying to stop me."
Izabel Pakzad was born in January 1996 in New York. According to her Instagram bio, she is of Iranian and Greek descent. While little is known about her early life, the actress studied advertising and publicity at Penn State University and pursued a master's in integrated design, business, and technology at the University of Southern California. Thereafter, she shifted her focus to acting, writing, and direction.
According to reports, Izabel Pakzad wrote, directed, and starred in the short film Don't Worry, It's Gonna Be OK, which served as a proof of concept. The film was invited to several film festivals, including the 2022 LA Film Festival, where it won Best Short Film. As an actress, she has starred in several projects and has taken on roles in the TV series The Deuce and Baker's Dozen, as well as the superhero film Birds of Prey.
However, one of the most interesting revelations about the couple's relationship came from James Franco, when during a conversation on SiriusXM's The Jess Podcast, he admitted to having cheated on all his partners except for Izabel Pakzad. He opened up about his sex addiction and how he had little regard for the feelings of his partners and said:
"I had girlfriends. I could never be faithful to anybody. I cheated on everyone before Izabel. I was completely blind to power dynamics or anything like that … I didn't wanna hurt people. When I was a teenager, I was addicted to alcohol. I got into a lot of trouble; I got sober when I was 17. Once I couldn't use alcohol to fill that hole, it was like, 'Oh, success, attention, this is great.' I got addicted to validation or success or whatever that is."
James Franco recalled that as he became successful, he began to gain attention from women, which became a major source of validation for him. However, the problem began when no amount of validation felt enough. He recalled feeling like he was "trying to fill that hole and it never gets filled." Franco also recalled an instance in which he said his sponsor attempted to advise him. He said:
"[He said,] 'Look, cheating is dishonest; I don't think that's good for your sobriety.' But, if you're not dating someone and you want to go and hook up, whatever happens between two consenting adults is fine. The problem was, I took that and ran with it, using it as an excuse to hook up all over the place. And, in fact, I wasn't really a one-night-stand guy...It's just that I couldn't be present for any of them. And the behavior spun out to a point where it was like I was hurting everybody."
