Since her affair rumours with Mike Vrabel surfaced, she's lost a substantial amount of credibility, and now any account of her slightly friendly behaviour towards an NFL coach or player results in a dating rumour. It started after Page Six released exclusive PDA-filled pics of her and the New England Patriots head coach, Mike taken at an Arizona resort. The images drew significant backlash for the duo. Recently, the hate train against Dianna intensified after her past link-up with two other NFL coaches resurfaced.
Former Fox Sports Radio host Jason Whitlock made the most unhinged remark about Dianna Russini's affair allegations during his April 2026 episode of the Fearless with Jason Whitlock show. He referenced a 2020 tweet shared by ESPN sportscaster, Steve Levy, pointing out a comment of a colleague, Samantha Ponder, about Dianna Russini (who was also an ESPN employee at that time). It included Steve praising Dianna for successfully securing interviews with two "near impossible" NFL coaches, Mike Vrabel and Mike Tomlin, on a single Sunday during strict COVID-19 restrictions.
Referencing the tweet about Dianna, Jason Whitlock subtly implied an affair involving the ex-NFL insider with the two coaches, Mike Vrabel and Mike Tomlin. He hilariously took a jab at her by comparing her access to coaching circles to someone having meal dates at various fast-food chains. He suggested that if someone eats at McDonald's (referencing alleged photos of Dianna with Mike at the Arizona hotel), it is reasonable to assume that they might also visit Wendy's or Chick-fil-A (hinting at different meal date spots with different people). Jason linked his metaphoric analogy to the NFL coaches by stating:
"If you catch me eating at McDonalds, it's safe to assume that I also eat at Wendy's, Burger King etc. If Mike Vrabel owns a McDonalds, Mike Tomlin might have owned a Wendy's in Pittsburgh. Dianna Russini interviewed these two on a Sunday morning in 2020. It's suspicious."

The photos depicted the two interacting closely at the Ambiente luxury resort in Sedona, Arizona. The images, reportedly taken during the weekend of March 28, 2026, show the pair holding hands and hugging on a private rooftop bungalow during the evening. They were also seen lounging side by side in a hot tub and by a pool.
On the same morning, Dianna and Mike were reportedly seen having breakfast together at the hotel's patio restaurant. The news is gaining particular traction because both are parents and are married to different people. Both denied the allegations; however, public scrutiny of them has intensified after more pics from their alleged past dates were released by TMZ and the NY Times. The pics are from their 2020-24 meetups at casinos and bars, including one that shows them kissing.
