After Ending 22-Year-Long Marriage, Himesh Reshammiya Gets Married To His Girlfriend, Sonia Kapoor

It wouldn’t be wrong to say that it’s raining weddings in the B-town these days. The moment we pull ourselves out from the hangover of one celeb wedding, another one pops in. On May 08, 2018, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand Ahuja got tied in the holy matrimony. And yesterday, Neha Dhupia announced to the world about her sweet surprise of marrying Angad Bedi.

And now, reportedly, today on May 11, 2018, there is another celeb wedding news doing rounds. And it’s none other than the Bollywood singer, Himesh Reshammiya. Reports suggest that he got married to his girlfriend and Remix, Kaisa Yeh Pyar Hai and Sati fame actress, Sonia Kapoor in an intimate affair today itself.

Although no official confirmation has been spilt from reliable sources or Himesh himself, Bollywood Bubble could be quoted reporting that Himesh and Sonia said, ‘I do’, to each other on the terrace of music composer’s apartment. Last year, in December it was reported that Himesh and Sonia are soon going to get married. It was quoted, “As of now, Himesh is tied up with work, but he and Sonia are planning to get married next year. The family likes Sonia a lot”. Well, it seems that finally Himesh and Sonia are hubby and wifey to each other. However, we await an official confirmation from the horse’s mouth.

For those who do not know, Himesh Reshammiya was earlier married to Komal. They got married in their early 20s, and ended their marriage after 22 years in 2017! After the divorce, Komal was quoted as saying, “Himesh and I completely respect each other and are jointly going with this decision to part ways legally but mutual respect will always be there for us as I am a part of his family and will always be, and the same is with him towards my family. There are compatibility issues in our marriage but we respect each other immensely. Nobody else should be dragged into this matter and nobody else is responsible for this and the reason for our marriage not working is only and only compatibility. Sonia is not responsible for this at all and our son Swaym and our family loves Sonia just like a family member”. Himesh and Komal have a son whom they named, Swayam. In fact, once it was reported that Swayam is very close to Sonia. A source had revealed to an online portal, “In fact, Himesh’s son Swayam is very close to Sonia and both are on very good terms. Swayam also visits them regularly”.

Now, on May 11, 2018, reportedly, Himesh Reshammiya and Sonia Kapoor are finally married! We wish the couple a very happy married life.
